Fantastic location easy walking distance to downtown. Beautiful house with great space and wonderful kitchen. Plenty of room for our family of four.

Beautiful charming apartment, very well decorated and nice location

The property is situated close to the city center and there were nice views from the apartment. We spent one night and everything was clean and very comfortable. Even had a chance to get ice cream from Brynja which is right around the corner.

The place is pretty much as described - it comprises the upper and roof stores of an old wooden town house, with a separate entrance through a large balcony. The ground for is a separate apartment. The whole place has been refurbished meticulously with modern elements only recently, and while its history is present, the rooms are wide and lofty. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are one bedroom and large bathroom on the main floor and two bedrooms - one with a desk and chair ideal for writing separate from the group - and small bathroom upstairs. Beyond that: it's only minutes by foot to the city, the botanical garden, and the harbour - not to mention many nice places to eat.

All the books in the place are lovely, but they could leave a little bit more space for the guests' own stuff. And we didn't understand the meaning of the Matterhorn picture. But that's about the level of criticism.
