Beautiful views , a/c, everything you need to be comfortable

A bit hot being top level but there is a/c. Must walk one floor to top

Ein bezauberndes Appartment, das vollständig ausgestattet ist. Angenehme Klimaanlage, die gut einstellbar ist. Lage ist mitten im Zentrum jedoch durch die Dachgeschossposition ist es oben in der Wohnung schön ruhig. Der Stadtstrand ist in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Busstation vom Bahnhof aus ebenfalls. Der Vermieter ist immer erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit. Das Highlight ist das Panorama über die Start von der Terrasse aus!!!

Wohnung liegt im 5. Stock eines alten Hauses mit hohen Stockwerken und ein sehr kleiner Aufzug führt in den 4. Stock (max 2 Personen ohne Gepäck). Für alte und nicht mobile Personen daher nicht geeignet.

Exceptional as always as have stayed at the apartment on a few occasions

The apartment is modern and spacious, and we liked the small sun terrace with a wonderful view. A representative of the owner was there to meet us, in the street nearby, when we arrived by car. It was easy to double park to unload the bags. There are 100 stairs up to the apartment but there is a small lift, which means that one only has to climb 17 of them!

The apartment had clearly not been used for a while and it was not properly prepared. We found that the A/C did not work and we had to buy batteries for the controllers (which solved the problem); the fridge was off (unplugged) and we had to clear it of water before it was usable; the mains water was turned off at the incoming pipe and it was hard to contact the owner to get instructions on finding the stopcock. We had a long dialogue on parking before our arrival but we found that the best solution was not to use the owners' recommended reserved parking (20 minutes walk away) but to use the huge modern underground carpark (with video surveillance) at Piazza Libertá. For information - there is no discount for longterm parking and the cost is approx €25 per day. NB Whilst the apartment is quite close to the main port (cruise ships), it is a 25 minutes brisk walk, along the Lungomare, to the main day-ferry terminal.
