This is the first time we have stayed in Longboat Key. Loved the area and walking on the beach. Everyone was very friendly.

Lovely condo and property. Bedrooms and baths are a tad smaller than they appear in the photos but the amazing views in the rest of the condo made up for it! Condo was great, beds were comfortable, kitchen was really well stocked and the fact that the property provided lounge chairs and umbrellas was an added bonus. We had a great time!

Such a great unit. Wonderful space - clean , excellent bathrooms/towels, kitchen utensils. One amazing detail which really impressed us. We brought a deflated soccer ball with us to kick around and the unit even Had a ball pump with needles. It was a great service as we thought we'd have to run to a store. We loved it there and of course views are amazing at sunset and really all day. Thanks!

When we first arrived the air conditioning was not working, however, the office staff had someone out within the hour to fix it. The unit was nice and the view was breathtaking. I would definitely stay in this unit again. The only bad is there is no washer and dryer in the unit but there is an on sight laundry facility that is free to use and no one messes with your laundry.

It has recent updates in both bathrooms (beautifully done) and flooring in the main living/ dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook our meals. The grounds at Sand Cay are gorgeous and well maintained. The staff was friendly, however we didn't need anything from them except to check in and check out. We hated to leave!

The corner end patio location made it a bit too windy. I would suggest a few extras= colander, small dish rack, rain umbrella. Beds were extremely comfortable. The website indicated 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom...I would recommend correcting that. No question, we will be back!

I know each condo is individually owned, and condo #302 was great for us. The bathrooms were beautifully updated as were the floors, and while the rest of the condo may not have been completely updated, it had everything we needed and it was perfect for our stay! The view was immaculate and we were able to see a beautiful sunset every night. Since the sun sets in the west and the balcony faces to the west, we did have a lot of sun on the patio until the sun went down, but again, that was fine for us.

We very much loved our stay in this condo and would absolutely book it again ... I think it must have the best view of the beach of any condo on the property. Everything in the condo is as described, convenient to grocery and restaurants, and steps from the most gorgeous beach ever -- we can't wait to return!

First, you are paying the lion's share of rent/fees for the location, the view, the proximity to one of the best beaches in Florida, so any nagging little negatives pale in comparison. Don't even waste much time thinking about them. Well, except maybe one. But first, the good stuff.1. Those photos you see online, especially the ones from the balcony - they're not retouched, they're absolutely true and the view is drop-dead gorgeous. THIS is why you spend the money and rent a condo here.2. It feels big inside. I don't know the actual square footage but it's probably not as big as it seems. Way more space than my wife and I needed but we certainly appreciated it. A family will do just fine with this much space.3. Everything works, from the plumbing, to the lights, to the heating and the A/C, both of which we used during our week there when it was warm at both ends and unseasonably cool in the middle.4. The geographic location is pretty much in the middle of Longboat Key making it close to St. Arman's to the south and Anna Maria Island to the north. Which means you are no more than 10 to 15 minutes from great restaurants, shopping and of course Publix.5. Did I mention the views?Now, here is one negative. It did not affect us much since we bedded down in the larger bedroom. But take heed to this review and at least one other, the A/C unit is bolted to a wooden base directly outside the smaller bedroom. It is noisy, it vibrates and honestly I don't see how anyone could sleep in there. We heard it in our BR but it wasn't bothersome, nor was it a problem in the rest of the place. Just that small BR. If you draw the short straw, you may need to sleep in the LR. I noted that all of the AC units (that I saw) were mounted in a similar fashion and since these are wood framed condos, the noise and vibration goes right through.One other thing to note, and this may just be a personal preference, but the vents are all located high up the walls and will blow directly on you, especially the BR and LR.I wish we'd known when we got there (after the office had closed) that there is an elevator and valet carts up toward the front. Makes it way easier to get your luggage and stuff to your condo than huffing it all up the stairs.One last little negative, the parking lot has ZERO lighting and is quite dark at night. Just FYI.So it's not perfect, but what is? We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will likely book at Sand Cay again. I hope this helps.

The floors creaked a bit in the master bedroom. The unpleasant part for us was finding roaches. They have very tall ceilings....unfortunately the roaches like hanging out at the top where you cannot get to them. At night we found them crawling around the floors. But overall this was a nice unit.

Process was seamless.

Updated condo (pics are old in website, this place had definitely been updated). Bathrooms, living room, dinning room, kitchen now all have faux hardwood floors (not carpet). Bathrooms appliances upgraded, too. Overall, very nice and clean place. And right next to the beach. Beautiful sunsets every night. Had beach stuff in condo to use. Very quiet area. Not a lot of people so almost like a beach to yourself. Would recommend. Just note the outside A/C unit is very loud and vibrates through the wall into the bedroom with twin beds. We couldn't sleep in there. Had family sleep in the king room and I slept on the sofa. Bonus for me... I woke up to a beautiful view each morning with blinds fully open.

Great view of Gulf and the best view of sunset I’ve ever experienced from the comfort of the living room couch. Condo was great expect for carpet in bedrooms. Smelled mildew when first entered condo but opened windows... I really wanted to complain about nasty carpet in bedrooms but once I saw the view of the ocean from the living room and balcony I was speechless 😊
