Grazie alla sua superba posizione, tutti i siti di Venezia sono raggiungibili a piedi o con un paio di fermate sul vaporetto. Nell'arredamento dell'appartamento la prima considerazione è stata quella di creare un'oasi confortevole e accogliente per voi dopo una giornata trascorsa a visitare la magica Venezia.
Il soggiorno (che si affaccia sul canale e sul Campo San Barnaba) dispone di due divani Natuzzi (un divano letto matrimoniale), un sistema audio Linn e un televisore HD con lettore DVD / CD.
Entrambe le camere sono luminose e ariose con letti confortevoli e hanno un sacco di spazio per appendere / deposito negli armadi su misura. La camera da letto 1 ha un lussuoso letto matrimoniale con biancheria raffinata e tessuti tradizionali veneziani. Camera 2 ha due letti singoli. Entrambi i bagni sono completamente piastrellati con docce multigetto.
La cucina è stata costruita a mano e dispone di sala da pranzo per 6.

Our family of 6 stayed here for New Years at the end of our trip to Italy. The location was great - more of a local neighborhood but walking to St Marcos square. Lots of shops and places to eat and groceries nearby. Apartment itself was good - very clean, updated bathrooms good amount of space and felt very safe. You could look out the window onto the canal and there was a fresh fruit/veggie boat right there. Host communication was wonderful and they met us on time and took us to the apartment. Would definitely stay here again!

Our place was the absolutely perfect. Places to eat were steps away. This is my 3rd visit to Venice and Dorsoduro is, by far, the best area to stay. Our apartment was very roomy and comfortable. I am very appreciative of the kindness shown to my family and me during our stay. Day of checkout, Mass at Saint Marco lasted far longer than expected which put stress on our host. Additionally, we had no idea November 1st was a holiday that also put stress on our host. But everyone was very gracious and found workable solutions. Thank you so much and forgive me again for the added stress! Blessings to you.

This was our third stay at Cá Leonessa so it really did feel like home. Both the agent and owner are helpful and flexible. The apartment overlooks a small canal in a charming, lived-in part of Dorsoduro, our favourite area somewhat removed from the spritz glitz and clamour of other parts of Venice. The little bar across the bridge does a brisk trade at night (don't worry, it's not too loud or intrusive). Popular with locals, the fruit and vegetable boat is practically at the front door, a fabulous pasticceria is just around the corner, and a supermarket, excellent butcher and fishmonger (some mornings) are all close by. Just like home, the apartment could use a little attention to one or two areas, but nothing major, on the whole it is and always has been a very comfortable apartment, airy with good natural light, in a fabulous position in terms of vaporette access, touring Venice and living like a local. Wifi is excellent too.

Great spot on a canal only about 300 yards from Vaparetto stop and Grand Canal. Two squares with shopping and numerous restaurants really close. Great people watching as Bridge of Fists and popular little bar across the bridge from unit. Bit noisy on the Saturday night but understandably, windows muted the noise very well.

Venice was a dream and this apartment was perfect. A great location and easy walking distance to restaurants and attractions while also being away from the major crowds. Our hosts were attentive and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The washing machine was a huge convenience. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Venice!

This place was fantastic! Off the path of tourist crowds but still surrounded by neighborhood restaurants popular local bar with friendly service. Right on a canal. The water taxi return to the train station picked us up within 10 steps of our door. We will stay here next time!

This is a fabulous property! Absolutely perfect location and the host Jonathan was super responsive. Our greeter Erica was really amazing - so helpful with anything we asked and helped us with all our transportation requests! We would highly recommend!!

Was a great stay for us! It was a little hot though. The placement of the air conditioners was only good for part of the apartment. Location was good. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Grocery store near. Didn’t like the little steps throughout the apartment. Kind of a tripping hazard.
Host was amazing at setting up our boat transfer for when we arrived late at night from airport and had flight delays. Very accommodating.

The apartment was clean and spacious. We did not use the kitchen but it had plenty of dishes, glasses etc as well as a dishwasher if you wanted to eat in. The grocery is close by as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. Excellent speaker system. Comfortable beds, good quality linens and great a/c. My favorite part was the views of the canal. Only drawback that prevented a 5 star rating was that the drain in the second shower was clogged and it was an open shower (no door) so the floor got wet and the shower was cut short. We really would have liked to have the 2 showers available for our use. All in all a great property.

We spent an amazing week in Venice and could not have been happier with the apartment. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. 2 luxury bathrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the location and local square where food was more reasonably priced and less crowds. Great location near the Vaporetto that we used to get to/ from the airport and 15 min walk to the train station so we were able to go to Florence on the high speed train just for a day. We were able to walk to all the attractions finding new places to get Aperol Spritz on the walk! Fantastic place to see Venice!

The apartment was perfect for our family of five. It was a quaint and quiet little area of Venice with shops and restaurants within seconds of the vrbo. Light and bright, Along the canal with great views along the canal. The apartment had everything for the kitchen, family room and two separate bedrooms and bathrooms. The only thing missing in the bathrooms was hand soap and lack of additional toilet paper, both purchased at the local grocery store. Two AC units and extra fans helped with the hot hot hot weather in Venice this week! Lovely stay and will be back!

Nice, and pretty quiet (despite a bar across the street) area of Venice. Our only major issue was that the one bathroom had mildew/mold on the walls and showerhead. There were two bathrooms, so we just didn’t use the shower in that bathroom. The Wifi didn’t work for us. There also wasn’t enough toilet paper, but that could be our fault as we didn’t use the bidets.

Venice was the first stop of our 2-week Italy trip. Renee’ arranged a water taxi from the train station and met us at the door.
Apt was clean, roomy for 4 (2 adults and 2 teenage ladies) and in a good location. Grocery around the corner, piazza w/ restaurants, etc. Easy to walk to all points in Venice.
One day we took the train to Lido and rented bikes and rode to the end of the Island and back (6 mi one way).
Highly recommend Al Vecio Marangon for a delicious lunch in Lido!

We had a great stay in Venice at this property. The apartment is tastefully done. Everything was smooth. If there were two small details, I would say that the water pressure in the tap was lower than the expectation (maybe Venice doesn't allow that?) and there was no paper towel roll :). Other than that, the beds, kitchen, bathrooms, sheets, towels... all were some of the best we have seen.

We stayed for 3 nights (4 adults and 1 15 year old). The apartment was exactly as described and was just the perfect size for our group. It was really hot when we were there, but the 2 A/C units were a life saver!! The location was convenient to everything, the canal market was just outside the front door, and a bakery, gelato store, and several restaurants were right around the corner. It gets a 5 star for sure!!!! Thanks Jon!

Erika was a wonderful host. The apartment was clean and the space met our needs sufficiently. Jon answered our questions very quickly. Air conditioning was a big plus, as well as having a washing machine. We were traveling as a family of five, and everyone had ample space to sleep. We loved the location as well, with restaurants, a pharmacy, and markets right nearby.

This property is right on a canal and has so much room to relax! In our trip through Europe this is the first apartment that had a full size sitting room with two couches. It was so nice to have a place to relax with the family. The location was great and we enjoyed being in a less busy area yet very close walking to all of the sites. And our host was very nice and check in / out was very easy!
The only issue was that there was no hand soap in either bathroom but at least the kitchen had liquid dish soap (but there were small tubes of shampoo). We had to buy pump soaps to be able to wash our hands. This may have been in the description (I cannot recall). Just a bit surprising as we have stayed at many VRBOs and at least there always was hand washing soap in the bathrooms. But €1.90 solved the problem and we left the pump soap for the next guests. Very minor issue!
Overall we would highly recommend this property to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our artistically decorated apartment. Erika was the perfect host, she helped get taxis during a festival on the Grand Canal and gave recommendations for restaurants. The apartment is right on a small canal with the fruit market on its own boat. Yes there are stairs but not many. We look forward to recommending this place to friends.

I stayed with my elderly parents, and our only concern is it was easy to trip within the VRBO due to uneven floors/ledges. Other than that, fantastic location & easy check in. It's across the street from a bar, so be aware of the potential noise.

Erika was great. She was very helpful and gave us lots of suggestions where to eat and shop. The apartment is very cozy, clean and excellent location close to everything.
