Ideal for a stop over before taking the ferry. Within walking distance of the town, the castle, the cliffs and pubs and restaurants. Very friendly.

Margarate, the host. She is really a nice lady with happy face
Rooms were comfortable for family of 4, kids liked it
Importantly she did help to reserve a space for car and helped to park , thanks a lot!!

Very nice and friendly hostess with the mostess! Breakfast can be ordered for extra but it was excellent at a good price. Car parking in garage if it is available and locked at night. We had a very good stay .
We found the bed a bit uncomfortable. A bit too firm for us, might suit others and a bit on the smaller size which we're not used too. The top pillow hard and heavy which we couldn't use. So, we didn't sleep very well. On the whole it was very clean and for one night it was ok.

Margaret and her husband were delightful and very accommodating.
They gave great suggestions for restaurants and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent! thanks!!!

Owners were very nice. Location good for our needs.
The bathroom especially was freezing cold and felt damp. There was a fan heater on the wall which helped but not that eco friendly. There was a shower curtain which doesnt personally work for me. We were in a basement room which may account for some of these issues.

Location of the property and the backyard garden.
Room was kind of dark and in the ground floor with no view. Expected rooms to be on upper floors.

Room was so comfortable like home from home.
Amazing host that went the extra mile to make our stay the most enjoyable. We had an outstanding lower floor room with our own access to a beautiful garden where we sat in the sunshine. Dover castle and the beach was a short walk

Would of liked the heating to of come on in the morning as was cold

Garage was too small. We had to stay in the basement room with old furniture which was very cold and very small. There were no clean sheets on the bed. The breakfast was tasteless and it wasn't even a full English breakfast. Also the hosts were impolite. My husband and I only stayed there because we hadn't a choice as it was really late in the night. Otherwise we would have left immediately. We love to travel and we travel a lot, but this was the worst stay ever.
