The location is great by water and land! Boat ramp and trailer parking very close to property, grocery stores close, and easy ocean access to either side. The house has excellent sunrise views from the screened in back porch. The inside is set up to be very accommodating to families including small children. This property was great for our group of adults and provided everything we needed.

This was a awesome property for our family! My kids loved the bunk beds. My husband and I both slept very well in the king size bed. The property was very clean and the perfect amount of space for our family. We enjoyed the large couch to watch a family movie before bed. The Kitchen was well stocked with pans and pots for cooking for our family. There was a broken can opener, but the property manager offered to reimburse me if I purchased one, or to drop one off for us. She was very responsive and helpful! We enjoyed the screened porch and the outdoor area for watching the sun come up or watching the manatees play and taking in the breeze in the late afternoon. The fishing off the dock was a highly light for my son! We rented a boat for a couple of days and kept it at the dock at the house. It was so nice to walk out and hop on the boat as we wanted. The sunset was beautiful to watch while walking along the causeway across the street from the house. You can also go down to Sunset Park to take it in. We enjoyed using the cabana club. They had a small beach the kids could play at and a nice pool to swim in, but they ask the kids not to splash too much and bring floats (life jackets and lil kids’ floatation devices needed for safety are fine). They had a great snack shop and bar and good food. When you vacation here, be ready to make fast friends with the neighbors and people at the pool. You do share the dock, and it was lovely to be able to chat with other families and share experiences. We had an absolute blast and look forward to another family trip here soon.

The condo was the perfect size and had a lot to offer as far as view from the dock we watched dolphins several mornings! Provided all of the utensils , dishes,towels and other necessities AC works great! When we arrived the grill that was on site was rusted on the legs but the property manager replaced it promptly ! The pantry door was not attached and we ended up putting it in the closet as well a strange odor seemed to come from the kitchen sink when we first arrived and snuck back in every now and then. I would recommend an area rug around the couch to prevent debris from getting onto the furniture and a small vacuum for clean up . The king size bed was extremely comfortable. Over all the experience was amazing as we enjoyed time both in Key Colony and had access to all the keys with in a reasonable distance Beware if you are looking for beaches this is not the best location but excellent for fishing and snorkeling !

Door broken hinge, grill unable to use two legs rusted thru, two bikes had 4 flats. Just didn’t appear that the owner had been there for awhile to keep the place up. Little things missing like beach chairs a cooler, got to keep in mind a person flying in can’t bring that kind of stuff.

The cleaning was average except the toilets, they were dirty. We spend two weeks in the house. Had a wonderful time. Manatees came along and one afternoon there were even three to say hello. Wonderful! Do we come back here, yes. All and all a great place to stay.

Nice stay had trouble with the internet constantly

The house is half duplex, pictures are exactly what you get. Backyard on the water is great, you can kayak, fish, park your boat. Weather was perfect and we spent most time outside. Location is very convenient to get to the Cabana club ( walk) or to the highway for groceries etc. Views of open water, sunrises could not be better. A few things to note to the host. Would be great to have some cleaning supplies. Staying a week guests may want to wash clothes, clean the floors, but there are no supplies for that. I found only dry swiper, but bottle for floor spray was empty. Having things like washing machine detergent, garbage bags, Windex, dishwasher detergent would help guests keep the house clean. No one wants to go buy full jug of detergent or case of garbage bags to use a few.

The unit could've been cleaner. Upon arrival the guest bed had hair from a women and a dog. The bicycles are inoperable. Both have flat tires and the black ones chain needs grease badly. The kitchen is very small!! We had to squeeze in and out when making breakfast and when someone needs a cup of coffee. Overall it's a nice updated unit. The dock and porch are very nice. Would stay again.

We manage and own many vacation rentals in Texas so our expectations are very high! The home was exactly as advertised. The master bedroom was large and bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The dock was perfect for our 32 ft Century Center Console. Spent so much time on the patio and dock enjoying the wonderful views and fishing. Neighbors were fantastic! Host promptly replied to our questions during booking and during stay. Even gave us a later check-out since there was not a arriving guest on the day of our departure. We will be back soon!!!

The property location was great. Travel time to all our adventures not located in Marathon was minimal. The views were just as described. Fishing off the dock was so enjoyable. Two manatees came up to the sea wall next to the dock and stayed for a little while. We enjoyed the Cabana Club pool and beach connected to it. The Speed Boat races were in Key West this week and we viewed the parade from Fat Tuesday’s on Duval Street. We will definitely stay there again next year! Katie the property manager answered all our questions promptly and was very helpful with information about the area.

Perfect little place. Few things weren’t working such as some lights. Cleaning could be a little better as there was a lot of stuff underneath the couch. Overall I would rent there again.

We stayed at this property and rented the other side of the duplex as well to accommodate our group. The location is beautiful and the home is recently renovated. We had a few small issues but the property manager was great. Would definitely stay here again.

This was our second time staying at this rental and hopefully it will not be our last time. We really enjoyed using the dock to fish from. Launched our kayaks from the dock as well.

Location was in the middle of everything. Great fishing incredible food and an amazing beach a few miles away.

Was looking for a quiet place on the water for a 10 day getaway while my small dog recovered from surgery. The best points of this property were the view, the amazing A/C and the ice machine in the fridge were great. Its a pretty location but not a big nightlife scene so I would only stay here if I brought the people I wanted to spend time with. Only complaints would be the mattresses in the second bedroom. Super uncomfortable. I slept on the couch the first few days and then resorted to sharing the bed in the master with my 97 yr old dad...not the ideal situation. Also an upgrade in bedding and towels would be nice...we brought our own. Would definitely stay here again if I only needed one bed to sleep in otherwise I would rent a place that had two queens (and no bunk beds). When I originally booked I had planned it to be just me and the dog but my older sister and dad decided to join.I can tell you sitting out in the screened in patio in the late afternoon into the evening and listening to the wind blow through the palm trees was amazingly therapeutic!

A little confused on the 5 star across the board reviews on this one. We stayed in another house in KCB for 3 weeks before we stayed here and it was less per night, bigger and the renovations were far superior. Light covers were missing, the all the closet doors in all the rooms were off the tracks and broken, the toilet rocked back and forth because it was not sealed to the floor, the ceiling in living area was caving in, I could go on and on. In general, the reno done was cheap and without thought. There isn’t even anywhere in both showers to rest your soap so you have to put it on the ground. Don’t even get me started on the kitchen amenities. The pots and pans are plain gross. There’s so much Teflon peeling off all of them you’d get cancer next week if you use them. I’m Its clear that the owner is getting a bit greedy here and not blocking a week off to fix and replace things. Sorry. But if you are going to charge $200+ to stay in a duplex with no privacy it should be in better shape. I hope this review kicks the tires a bit so more more guests aren’t disappointed. It gets 4 stars for location, the view out back and I guess if you fish or have a boat.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the location, accommodations were clean and comfortable.

We stayed at this house for a week. It was the perfect size for a family of four. We had great fishing just off the dock out back. Very close to everything. Property manager is very helpful and responds quickly. We had a great time.

My wife and I completely enjoyed the property. It was great to see sunrise and sunset over the water. Everything was as advertised and it is a great place for a very small group (4 max ). The location to groceries and good restaurants is awesome and perfect distance for bridge fishing either north or south plus you have the option to dock your boat 15 feet from the back door. We saw Tarpon, Manatee, Shrimp and other water stuff from the dock. Friendly full time neighbors also. We sure hope to go back!

This was a Great stay! We fished every day that we were there and caught just about every species I can think of. The place was very clean and check in was very smooth. A big shout out to Katie - she was very easy to deal with and very friendly. Having a dock where I never had to worry about the depth for my boat was a huge bonus. The marina just 1 minute from the place was also huge as we could gas up and get chum and bait every morning without much hassle. Great overall stay!

Excellent property with perfect amenities. Many restaurants within walking distance, plus a dock at your door. Fishing is great. Highly recommend for a perfect vacation.

We had a great stay in this unit for our 20th wedding anniversary. The screened in porch is amazing for watching the sunrise with your morning coffee. We saw two manatees go by the dock and the views are very pretty from it. The Cabana Club is a great place for the pool/beach and we ate at Havana Jack’s next door a few times because it was so good!
