Located in the best and safest place for snorkling, the 90 mq one bedroom apart is modern and charming, fully furnished, finished with parquet, ideal for a couple,a family or for a group of people that get along well together. There is a eating out area with view, free private parking and free wifi. You can walk to the rocky beach along a path in the nature.
The apart belongs to the villa Amaras and it is a first floor open space (second floor with private entrance for US guests), with a huge bedroom and a big veranda with a beautiful view on Etna and on the Mediterranean Sea. Ideal for 2, thanks to further sofa beds in the living room the apart can accomodate up to 5 people . There is one bathroom with bathtube/shower and a big kitchen provided with all you need.

There is a lovely dog living in the property and a couple of cats walking on the roofs.

AMARAS is located at 5 minutes driving distance between the fisherman village of Brucoli and the lovely Megarian town of Augusta. The villa on the sea is placed in one of the most quiet and elegant residential area of the territory of Augusta.

The northern seaside land of AUGUSTA where the house is located is characterized by high cliffs, among the most beautiful in Sicily, alternating clear rocky beaches located in the middle of rocky coves where the salt and the power of water has shaped walls forming jagged arms marine similar to the fjords of Northern Europe, but also digging deep underwater caves (whose exploration is recommended only to those who have some experience in underwater exploration). It must be said that all eastern sicily cliffs are preferably visit early in the morning, allowing them to admire the spectacular sunrise horizon of the Ionian Sea. Vetrano is the fjord where the house is located and is quiet and perfect for snorkeling.

Do not miss a daily and a night visit of the charming LIGHTHOUSE of Augusta at 3 km distance in an area. Called ‘Il Faro’ or ‘Sant’Elena’ by local residents, it is a safe and panoramic place.

If you want to spend a day on a sandy beach, the closest one is 'Agnone' (driving north on the ss 114 orientale sicula direction Catania) but I would suggest to avoid it (dirty and theft risk) and better drive south either on the ss 114 or the highway to the nicest 'Fontanebianche' and 'La Marchesa' (also called Oasi Gelsomineto) in the south of Syracuse, 'Eloro', the Noto beach, 'Vendicari', by the ancient 'tonnara' (name for both the specific tuna fishing technique and establishemnt where it took place) ruin int hte Natural reserve of Vendicari and 'San Lorenzo' (my favourite), south of Vendicari,
