It felt very homely with books on the shelves and interesting paintings on the walls. The geese, chickens, goats, dogs and cat were lovely too.
We had to search for towels (which we found in a cupboard) and there was no shampoo or shower gel were provided. We hadn’t brought any with us as they are usually supplied and we were on an 8 day cycling tour with very limited space in our saddle bags.
That’s our only small niggle.
