The house is pristine clean. The kitchen and bathroom are nice and updated. The host Kathy was very responsive. Bedrooms are small but there are 3 bedrooms so plenty of space for a family of 5. Nice location - very quiet neighborhood and walking distance to Matunuck beach, the market, ice cream. Perfect for a beach getaway.

Stayed with our adult children for a 4 day getaway to visit friends inatunuck
The house was perfect! Well appointed and extremely clean. Everything we needed, just as advertised. Looking forward to returning next year. Kathy was great to work with. Thank you!!!

Very clean and nice! Location is close enough to walk to beach if you choose. Far enough way away from the center of town which can be busy.

Took the family to this location at the end of the summer right before school and everything was great. House was perfect for the 5 of us and our dog. Close walk to ice cream which was a daily treat for the family. An easy walk to the beach to look for shells.

Location and the cottage was wonderful. Walked to the beach, the vanilla bean, and the market along with the farm stand. Definitely recommend. Cottage was perfect and Kathy our host was great!

Quiet, clean place that is just a 10 minute walk from the beach. We loved the outdoor shower and quiet neighborhood. Kathy was great to communicate with.

Cottage is spotless from start to finish. There's everything you could need, just replace it if you use it all. State beach parking pass included, you can sleep up to 8 people in this 3 bdrm, 1 ba, extended cape. Wrap around porch with propane tank grill and outdoor shower with hot water.. They even have a baby gate! Beautiful neighborhood with immaculate landscape, and delicious local eats. Highly recommended 10/10.

Kathy was such a great host. One of the easiest to communicate with I’ve ever booked with. She was kind, informative, flexible and available. The place itself was spotless and very nice. Felt homey and quiet, great qualities for a quick relaxing get away. Location couldn’t have been better. Super short drive or very easy walk to the beach or the town’s amenities. Would recommend this spot and host to anyone.

Staying in this quaint little beach cottage was most enjoyable. The property was very clean and comfortable. Great location for walking to beach or beach bars. It was also fairly close to some of my favorite eating place such as Iggy's and George 's. The people in the neighborhood were friendly. Kathy my host was super easy to communicate with. I love this little cottage so much I looking forward to booking it next year.

We were in town for an annual reunion with friends in Charlestown. This home was comfortable, very clean, well maintained, in a lovely convenient neighborhood. We were also able to bring our well behaved dog, which was a bonus.

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Kathy's place. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed, plus it's a short walk to a beautiful beach and a short drive to Matunuck Oyster Bar, which you should absolutely go to. Kathy even let us check-in early when we needed to escape a downpour. It was a great stay.

My two friends and I had a wonderful time in Matunuck. The house is exactly as stated. Three bedrooms, deck, outside shower and super clean. Kathy was amazing, always staying in touch.
The Kingstown beach is down the road and there is also a small market. The location is perfect close to everything: Newport-30 mins; Port Judith to catch the ferry to Block Island-11 mins and restaurants nearby.

Fantastic location close to swimming, biking, kayaking (launch just down the street), boating, hiking, and more. Or just sit out back and watch the ospreys raise their young ones.
Peaceful, quiet surroundings. Plenty of restaurants, farm stands, markets, quirky shops, picturesque harbors, etc. nearby. Most always a sea breeze so we sat outside a lot in the morning and evening and just took it all in.
Host Kathy communicates impeccably. House was pristine when we arrived. A+.
Comfortable furniture, wonderful deck out back, small TV with basic cable, fully stocked kitchen, awesome central A/C and ceiling fans. Neighbors keep to themselves but also super friendly. Laid back area, away from the touristy spots, really a step back in time.
We so much enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Kathy!

Great beach cottage
My wife, mother in law, one year old daughter and our dog stayed at this cottage. It was even nicer than we expected and very clean. Perfect amount of space for our family and we loved the outdoor shower!

Very clean and owners were very friendly. Excellent location a few streets away from the store and the beach. We enjoyed seeing the wild rabbits in the back yard.

Vacation
We had such an enjoyable stay and didn’t want to leave! The home is in such close proximity to the beaches (especially Scarborough state park)and not far from Narragansett where we enjoyed lunch at Iggy’s, the Coast Guard restaurant and the restaurant at George’s Beach.
The bunnies and beautiful species of birds were very entertaining in the backyard of the home.
