The location was excellent! The apartment is spacious, and the fully stocked kitchen was very nice to have. The air conditioning units worked fairly well and kept us comfortable.

There were several small bugs constantly present in the apartment despite us keeping the windows closed, and the washing machine did not clean the clothes very well and left them soaking wet to the point we had to spend an hour wringing everything out before hanging them on the lines.

Spacious and clean. Owner was very prompt and courteous.

Friendly host. Good location. Definitely recommend.

If you imagine yourself in a romantic comedy or as a bohemian american student coming to Florence you may find the broken shutters, creaky sofa and rain leak charming. If not, it's no more than fine as an apartment to crash in for a short visit in the city. Yes, it's on the top floor of a dark and small stone staircase (which I wouldn't advise tackling with large luggage),but the view is spectacular. The kitchen is well stocked (plates/cutlery/washing up liquid etc) as is the bathroom (toilet roll and shower gel). The water pressure is also good, especially considering it's an old building. The washing machine is a small top loader so not great draining or washing but ok for a quick change over. Lovely old table and chairs, which would look better without their marked and ripped covers. Good cleaning supplies so I gave the floor a wash when we got there. We were met at the property and the host was very responsive and quick at repairing the tv. The location is great, near all main points of interest, a short stroll from Santa Croce and the river. near all main attracctions.
