Sitting On The Sound is a great place to just sit back and relax.
Sitting On The Sound è un ottimo posto per sedersi e rilassarsi. Questa nuova casa ha tutti gli aggiornamenti. Letto king size, divano letto, Wi-Fi, TV via cavo. È il luogo perfetto per guardare il sorgere del sole e tramontare! A pochi minuti dal centro di Carrabelle, City Boat Ramp, a 5 minuti dalla spiaggia di Carrabelle. Luoghi da visitare nella zona circostante includono: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, il faro storico Carrabelle e Museo, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, escursioni Island Ferry Dog, pesca charter, kayak, piste ciclabili dall'altra parte della strada, gite in barca con fondo di vetro a Wakulla Springs, il Marine Lab di Specimen del Golfo di Panacea (con piscine tattili per bambini), la Riserva di Ricerca Estuarina Nazionale di Apalachicola, una varietà di ristoranti locali di pesce e un supermercato locale. Nelle vicinanze è la bella St. James Bay Golf Course e Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 buche Campo da golf progettato da Robert Walker. Il famoso Crooked River Grill è a soli 15 minuti di distanza. Situato a poco più di un'ora di macchina da Tallahassee ea soli venti minuti da St. George Island e Apalachicola, questo ritiro può essere adattato al tuo spirito avventuroso.

This is our third stay at Sitting on the Sound over the past four years. We love the quiet location right on the water. The owner put a dock with a picnic table on one of the connected properties just steps away from the house. Terrific addition. We've seen such wonderful wildlife from the back deck over the years. An Osprey bid is farewell overhead this morning, showing off a big catch in it's talons. Truly amazing. The house is always comfortable and clean. Regular drip coffee pot, washer and dryer.

Pretty and comfortable. There isn't a dishwasher in the property, and you can't see the sunrise or sunset like some of the reviews say, but it's very quiet and we did see manatee and lots of fish and birds. It's a great place to relax and enjoy nature.

Parking was easy and for multiple cars. The house is cute and has a great view of the water easy access for biking or walking to town. The back deck needs some painting and few boards replaced. My only other issues was few dirty dishes and the tolit sit way to close to the small shower. The water pressure and temperature was good in the shower. Loved the sitting area in the bedroom over looking the bay.
