I arrived early but my room is prepared already which helps a lot with my early tiring train. Umarxon is like a grandpa greeting me when I arrived. My room is upstairs through a narrow and steep stair. The room is clean and spacious. Comfortable for a stay. Umarxon and his family lives in the same house and offered a lot of help to me. He tried communicating with translate app even though we have a bit of language barrier. There’s a little cat that sleeps in front of my room door. Toilet and bathroom are shared, but very clean. Location is just a short 3min walk to the main sites.

I didn’t carefully read it and was not expecting a shared toilet. Even though it’s clean, the shower is always occupied by either other guests or the family members.

The breakfast was excellent, especially the rose petal jam. The owner was very friendly and tried to help as much as possible. Also the location was excellent, very close to the street leading into Lyab-i Havuz Square.

It was our lack of attention that we didn't notice that the toilet was outside so we cannot fault the owner for this. But one of the beds had its springs broken, leaving a depression in it. The room had also a smell which my second half found oppressing.
