Before commenting on the property itself, make sure to use a GPS if at all possible. Details are provided when you receive the check-in procedure. Cadro is a small community with many small streets, but charming and the view from the balcony of this property is very nice, overlooking Lugano and part of the lake. Quiet, modern interior and well stocked, including an abundance of tourist information. Communication with the owner Esther is first class. We did not have a chance to use the swimming pool as it was a bit cool (late September) but looks very nice and the grounds in the backyard have ample space to read a book in peace. All in all, a place to stay. Note: We are from Canada and have visited Lugano and the Ticino a few times. This property is now on our list for a future visit.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable and well stocked apartment for our 5 day stay. We found the key easily on checkin, but were a little confused on which building the apartment and parking were located. To be fair, it may have been our Goggle translate instructions. Once in it was wonderful and a great location to explore the area.

Diese blitzsaubere Wohnung liegt perfekt für uns, wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Zwei Badezimmer, wunderbar, perfekt ausgestattete Küche, alles da, alles praktisch, vom Balkon die schöne Sicht auf Lugano und den See, und die ruhige Umgebung, top ! Wir hatten sehr netten Kontakt mit der Vermieterin, Wohnungsübergabe bei Abreise auch mit einem freundlichen Herrn. Alles gut - wir kommen gerne wieder !

Schöne Ferien
Es hat alles wunderbar gepasst. Die Wohnung ist modern eingerichtet, sauber und verfügt über alles, was man im Urlaub so benötigt. Auch die Außenanlage und der Pool sind sehr gepflegt und laden zum Verweilen ein.
Die Gastgeberin antwortet immer prompt auf Anfragen, und gibt einem auch sonst hilfreiche Tipps.

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Wohnung genau wie beschrieben. Sehr sauber und mit allem ausgerüstet was man braucht. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen und können die Wohnung nur empfehlen.

Tolle Wohnung für einen vielseitigen Urlaub mit Nähe zu Lugano und Ausgangspunkten für viele schöne Wanderungen. Für uns waren die Highlights in der Wohnung der grossartige Blick vom Balkon und die überdurchschnittlich gut ausgestattete Küche.

Perfekte Wohnung zum Relaxen, Geniessen, Erleben und Wandern. Wir (Paar) kochen auch manchmal gerne selber und konnten es richtig geniessen. Eine hohe Gastfreundlichkeit seitens der Vermieterin. Alles top!

Herzige Wohnung mit toller Aussicht. Gut gelegen für Ausflüge überall im Tessin. Ruhig. Mit Kleinkindern auch tiptop.

The view is spectacular A little bit tricky find as you arrive, specially in the dark, but once you have mastered the route all is fine. Very close to the center of Lugano but easily connected with the nature for beautiful hikes in the neighborough.
The communications with the owner were quite easy and immediate.
I highly reccomad this place for a nice and relaxing staying in Lugano.

Gut gelegen, ruhig, geschmackvoll renoviert
Geschmackvoll renovierte Wohnung an ruhiger Lage und mit toller Aussicht. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für die vor der Haustür liegenden Berge, aber auch für das nahe Lugano.
Wir haben es sehr genossen und werden gerne wieder kommen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, Nahe von Lugano und doch ruhig
Die Wohnung ist modern und sehr gut eingerichtet. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. In wenigen Minuten ist man mit dem Auto in Lugano, Von der Wohnung aus geniesst man die Sicht auf Berge und den Lago di Lugano. Wir haben es sehr genossen und konnten uns gut erholen. Hatte man Fragen, konnte man die Vermieterin per WhatsApp anfragen und sie hat prompt und umfassend geantwortet. Vielen Dank dafür!

Komfortable und ruhig gelegene Wohnung etwas ausserhalb von Lugano mit schönem Weitblick. Komplette Ausstattung, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Fahrzeug notwendig.

Schön und gepflegt
Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt auf der 4 Etage eines Wohnkomplexes von 70 Jahren. Man muss ein Auto haben, da die Anlage ist ca. 9 km von Lugano entfernt steil Bergauf. Es hat alles sehr gut geklappt dankt auch der Informationsflut vom Vermieter.

Toller Urlaub am Luganer See
Schöne und saubere Wohnung in ruhiger Umgebung!!! Die Wohnung ist zwar etwas abgelegen, aber für unsere Bedürfnisse war es vollkommen ausreichend und der Blick in die Berge und etwas weiter auf den See war wunderschön. Für Ruhesuchende und mit Auto ist es ein perfekter Urlaub. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, nur die Klimaanlage im August bei über 30 Grad Außentemperatur hat leider gefehlt. Der Gemeinschaftspool kam bei unseren Kindern gut an und die Gartenanlage ist zum relaxen super. Insgesamt war es ein wunderschöner Urlaub :)

Tolle Wohnung in paradiesischer Umgebung
Wir haben unseren 10-tägigen Urlaub in Cadro sehr genossen und uns gut erholen können. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und freundlich ausgestattet. Alles ist vorhanden, was man braucht. Ein herrlicher Blick auf See und Berge vom Balkon aus . Und ein ganz unkompliziertes Ein- und Auschecken. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

This place is super clean and quiet with nice view . . We did have some difficulty to access the garage . Thanks to Ester ‘s call to find out how we were doing . Overall very happy about our stay in this condo.

Super verblijf!
Heel mooi en ruim appartement, fijne ruime keuken. 2 badkamers, 1 slaapkamer, mooi balkon met fantastisch uitzicht op Lugano en Meer van Lugano. Ruime tuin met ligstoelen, zwembad en tafeltennistafel. Prima uitvalbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Een auto is wel handig, fietsen en wandelen in omgeving appartement kan mits je een redelijke conditie hebt gezien hoogteverschillen. Verhuurder Esther voorziet je van de nodige informatie over restaurantjes, wandelingen, uitstapjes en supermarkten in de buurt. Ook ben je je redelijk snel in Italië om boodschappen te doen. Handdoeken en bedlinnen inbegrepen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub in Lugano
Die Ferienwohnung in Lugano-Cadro ist ein Juwel. Eingebettet in einen herrlichen Garten mit Palmen und Oleandersträuchen, bietet die Ferienwohnung einen geradezu paradiesischen Ausblick auf Lugano-Stadt und den Hausberg San Salvatore. Die Wohnung selbst - bequem per Aufzug zu erreichen - ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und durch neue Bäder, sowie eine neue Küche in einem Top Zustand. Alles ist sehr sauber. Ein großer Supermarkt mit Tankstelle befindet sich in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Die Ausflugsziele und Aktivitäten für Wanderer, Familien usw. sind praktisch unerschöpflich. Schade, dass man nur fünf Sterne vergeben kann, wir hätten auch zehn vergeben, denn der Service rund um Buchung und Kommunikation durch die Vermieterin war super! Zusammengefasst: Wer diesen Wohnungsschlüssel für eine gewisse Zeit in Händen hält, kann sich glücklich schätzen.

wir haben die Festtage in Cadro sehr genossen. Frau Boehmer war sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns die Ankunft erleichtert. Wir können die Wohnung nur empfehlen und hoffen auch bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Lugano wieder buchen zu können.

Die Wohnung ist groß und schön eingerichtet mit tollem Ausblick!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die vielen kleinen Tips vorab per Mail und zusätzlich in der Wohnung haben uns sehr geholfen, z. B. leckere Grottis zu finden. Und dass wir zusätzlich noch einen Pool benutzen könnten, war quasi das Sahnehäubchen auf einen tollen Urlaub in der Schweiz.

Die vielen Tipps und guten Ratschläge unserer Vermieterin für Aktivitäten in Lugano und Umgebung waren eine echte Bereicherung. Jede Frage wurde prompt und sehr gründlich beantwortet. Wir fühlten uns geradezu umsorgt durch ihre freundliche Fürsorge. Wer ein Fernglas besitzt, sollte es mitnehmen, da vom Balkon aus der Ausblick grandios ist.

Stilvolles Wohnen mit herrlichem Panorama
Uns erwartete eine praktisch, sehr gut gepflegt eingerichtete, großräumige Wohnung mit Parkplatz in der Garage oder Wahlweise auf offener Parkfläche. Von dem großen Balkon führte der Blick auf das herrliche Panorama von Lugano und östlich mächtiger Bergkulissen. Die gesamte Anlage liegt in einem sehr gepflegten, grünen mit Palmen gezierten Ambiente.
Wir konnten von unserem Urlaubsort aus alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des Tessins stressfrei erreichen.
Rund um, wir hatten einen richtig schönen erholsamen Urlaub. Den Aufenthalt in der Wohnung können wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Fantastic place
We had an amazing time here. The owner, Esther, is quick to reply and answered all of our questions. We had 8 nights here and this is a good amount of nights for exploring the region.
The apartment is really nice. We were 4 adults here. 1 bedroom with double bed and 2 beds in the livingroom. 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with all supplies. A fantastic balcony with a stunning view looking over Lake Lugano.
It took 10-15 min to drive to Lugano. I would recommend to have a car here.
I would definitely recommend this place and I felt secure about payment all the time. Our biggest recommendations.
