This was by far one of my best rental experiences. JoAnn is very responsive, the neighborhood is nice with plenty of street parking. It’s perfectly located easy to find, roomy! I cannot say enough good things about my experience! I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the city!

We visited California for 12 days; this was the final property that we stayed in. I have stayed in VRBOs for about 15 years in over 5 countries. Pros: we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and the closeness to shops and restaurants on Ocean Avenue; and a mall with a Trader Joe's and Target. A whole foods is walkable to the left on Ocean Avenue. Cons: When we arrived, the couch smelled like urine and the closet farthest from the washer/dryer smelled like mildew. The in-law suite is a basement; so we heard the owners walking around and working in their kitchen. No wine was provided; so the owner may want to update her photos. The kitchen area was small but adequate; the washer and dryer were nice but loud. I would recommend the place if the owner cleans the 2 areas mentioned. Thank you.

Everything was just perfect. It’s a very clean and beautiful property, we enjoyed the stay. Loved the MUNI so near to the property. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

While my son and boyfriend golfed ( 8 min drive) I took public muni bus which was a 1/4 of a block walking distance that took me into the city. This property was clean, well stocked and comfortable. I definitely would stay here again. What a gem!

Fantastic stay for three adults and one teenager (17). Clean, quiet, spacious, comfy. Great location and area. Easy drive to sightsee. Great beds and linens, loved the shower head. Very convenient to have a fridge and coffee pot. We loved it here and would definitely stay again in the future.

Thanks for a lovely stay! Just the right amount of furniture and the beds were great (on the firm side). Just a few small suggestions... the seating area could use a lamp, as the overhead lights are very bright. A larger coffee maker would be appreciated too! Thanks again, highly recommend.

The house was nice and clean. Great big shower, everyone loved it. Beds were a hard for our liking, but overall it was great. Property manager was easy and great with communication.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Balboa Terrace. Communication with the host was smooth and easy and the house was clean and comfortable.

This extraordinarily well-kept property in the Balboa Terrace area of San Francisco is ideal for two couples or three singles. The decor is lovely and immaculate. The two bedrooms are comfortable with queen beds and room for luggage and other essentials. The living room is large with dining table for six and couches suitable for conversation and cocktails. One of the couches makes into a very nice bed for that third adult or child. While it does not have spacious kitchen, an efficiency arrangement with two-burner range, sink, microwave and washer/dryer in an alcove is more than suitable for breakfast and lunch making. You could do dinner in a pinch but why when there are so many restaurants within easy walking distance. The location could not be better for dining and exploring. As mentioned, restaurants abound (Ocean Avenue and Junipero Serra have dozens of choices and West Portal with many more is nearby). The M and T Muni trains stop at Westgate and Ocean (literally 100 feet from the apartment) providing easy access to the rest of the City. If driving is your mode of choice, street parking (scarce in much of San Francisco) was easy to find and close by. An excellent stay for us and highly recommended.

This was a great place to rest and rejuvenate! I’m in my second trimester of pregnancy and staying on a friend’s floor was no longer something I thought I could handle—this was a roomy getaway for us to sleep deeply and meet back with our friends later.

This place met all our needs. Loved that is is on one level. No stairs! Very nice and accommodating host. Very nicely decorated.

Place was great! JoAnn was very responsive and we spent an amazing time with my family at their place. Commute to go to the touristic areas of the city is pretty easy and the neighborhood itself is cute and peaceful. Much recommended!

Beautiful residential area. 35-50 min from Union Square via Uber at rush hour. We enjoyed a quiet stay. Owner attentive and responsive.
