Condo was dated which was fine. View was gorgeous, and great location near town/coffee shops. We really enjoyed the location, and it was easy to both cook in and eat out from this unit. Parking was also very convenient.
Chose this space for the “sleeps 6” - I have two teens and they do not like to sleep together so each wanted own bed. (1) sofa bed was funnel-like, with a deep sunken space in the middle and (2) there weren’t even sheets for the sofa bed onsite which tells me it isn’t considered useable as a bed. Condo manager was responsive and got me sheets by Day 2. But please - bear in mind this condo has two working queen beds only - so two and two who want to snuggle is a better fit. And the shower head is about 5 feet off the ground, for those 6-footers among us!

This property is well tended, not necessarily fancy, but with gorgeous views and all the things you need to have a wonderful vacation. I can’t recommend it highly enough, although I hesitate to do so because it is so wonderful and word will get out! Management does everything in its power to make your stay enjoyable.

This was a very nice and clean fully equipped condo. Right on the beach with beautiful view. The only negative comment is the lighting in the bath areas over the mirror was not good. Everything else was wonderful. Would definitely recommend it.

We asked & confirmed ahead of time about deck gas grill because it was important to us to save $ by cooking in while enjoying beach/ocean view. It was so filthy, stuck on old food, ants & bugs everywhere! Totally unusable. Made sitting on deck impossible until we had to clean. Management never responded. Bathroom toilet & shower/tub unclean as well. Cleaners did come, yet the amt of bleach & chemicals was so much it lingered in air for 2 days. Another annoyance, being as advertised on the beach, we asked if beach towels & chairs were provided. They refused & told us to bring our own ( not sure how to do that on a plane & no major store around !) Yet, the closet was full of kids beach toys & kid chairs. Kitchen was adequate but also not everything clean & missing some cooking essentials. The bedroom decks had no screens on doors , & over parking lot/ street so unusable. 2 out of 3 fire extinguishers were bad, & the one that was ‘in the green’ appeared corroded & was unreachable on deck corner behind grill. No 1st aid kit. Advertised music, books, games but it was a tape cassette boom box with no I pod use. Old paperback books, & a DVD player but no DVDs. While an older place is perfectly fine, we don’t understand why some inexpensive fixes have not been done. ( replace toilet seat & shower door, new coffee pot, & other worn out items, clean grill, update entertainment items, provide inexpensive beach chairs, towels etc-you have a deposit!). Especially with all the extra $fees you charge to take care of customers! -Where & for what does that money go? Location was great, but would only recommend with updates & good customer service for all the money we spent!

Beautiful View
Property met our expectations. The view was spectacular! After hours check in was seamless. The only opportunity area I would give is the shower head is ridiculously low. The spray literally hit me in the stomach.

The location is excellent. There isn’t soap in the shower. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are plenty of towels. There needed to be more and better toilet paper.

Had a great time. Close to beach and the vrbo was clean with comfortable beds.

Location of condo was very good, with a view from the front facing the ocean and pier. Small balcony off the bedrooms facing a beautiful tree. Close enough to walk to restaurants. There are stairs to the condo so you may not want to pack a heavy suitcase, smaller bags seemed better. The one negative about the beach was dried seaweed on the beach attracts flies.

But we really wanted to be on the beach, so not much else mattered.
In sum, if you are looking for a beach condo in decent condition and can climb stairs, this is a an excellent choice.

Ocean at your footsteps
Such a peaceful place to get away. The pier was just a short walk. Loved hearing the ocean from the room and overlooking the beach and pier from the deck. Definitely will be back.

We had the most wonderful time! Our deck overlooked the ocean so we had carry out each night on the deck, because we weren’t going to get a better view at any restaurant. The proximity to the ocean and the view were the highlights but the condo was nicely appointed and clean. We will definitely rent this place again!

Don’t want everyone to know how beautiful the sunrises are.
They were very kind to help us figure the check in, get keys, find condo in darkness.
Thank you for supporting us older adults thru the new rules on our cell phone.

The property was under construction
We were called by the property manager prior to arrival and she told us how to get into the property and that she needed to go by and put toilet paper in the bathroom but otherwise it was ready. We arrived at 430ish and there was still no toilet paper. We ended up buying toilet paper. The apartment was old and the carpet smelt musty. I did not want to take off my shoes because the carpet was so gross. The view was beautiful but the patio furniture was dirty. When looking around we notice a lot of construction around the building but no workers. Little did we know but the next morning we were surrounded by workers right off our porch not even 3 feet away without mask. They had a noisy compressor going on and we couldn’t even go outside.
We were never informed of the construction when renting the property. This property was on the ocean, that morning was beautiful but we couldn’t even enjoy it. We ended up leaving early that morning.
We have rented many places from VRBO and we have always been please. We did most of our money back but we only get a few days off and this took away from our relaxation. It was very unsettling!

Beachfront Cayucos Condo
The Condo is clean and comfortable, with views that are unmatched anywhere else in Cayucos. Easy access to the beach and shops on Ocean Blvd is fantastic. The check in and check out process was simple, with minimal contact.

Great spot at the end of the beach
The unit is larger than the pictures make it out to be. Each room is spacious, not cramped. There is space in the entry way and just overall roomier than you'd expect for a beachfront unit. The complex chopped down the tree that was blocking the vines so it's a fantastic, unobstructed view of the beach and pier. Only minor issue is that during the summer the sunset isn't viewable over the water.

Our vacation
We thought the condo was nice. The view was outstanding.
Our only issue was the beds were very old and had a dip in the middle. My husband is 6 “4 and his legs hung over. We did leave 2 days early because we were not able to get a good nights rest.
If in the future the owners could invest in a new bed that would be helpful.
People come in all sizes so it would make sleeping nicer. Plus , all beds wear out eventually . These beds definitely Were worn out.
That’s the only negative.
Other wise, I would definitely return for another visit.
Cayucos is a beautiful place to be.

Two week Treasure!
We had two awesome weeks in Cayucos at the condo at 349 Ocean. What a relaxing, awesome time! We enjoyed every minute! Went zip lining in San Margarita! Great! Could have stayed longer! Loved the fog, sun, clouds, all of the weather!

This place is dirty and smelly...
This condo is dirty and smelly! I do not know how long it's been closed up, but the carpet is old and smelly, the couch (hide a bed) is dirty to the touch and the mattress is not usable, the bathroom floor is so dirty the dirt is embedded into the flooring, the sliding glass door track and caulking is nasty. I had to leave all doors and windows open for two days before the odor finally dissipated. Plus, the towels bleed blue (literally drip blue dye in the tub as you shower). So, the unit is not clean and smells (really bad, strong odor), but the view is fantastic and the location is very good.
