We had a great stay. Clean and very comfortable place with a great deck overlooking a backyard full of flowers.

We stayed for two weeks at this lovely property and enjoyed every minute of it. The hosts were outstanding--gracious and kind and welcoming. The property is clean as a whistle and overlooks their carefully tended gardens, from which the hosts gave us fresh flowers for the apartment--even replenishing them halfway through! The deck provided us with outdoor seating for every meal. The bathroom is quite large and even has a closet for storage of toiletries. We enjoyed long walks in the area--and the proximity to Bellevue Avenue/Thames Street etc as well as the gorgeous Second Beach and hiking around Middletown. Thank you, thank you to our hosts! :)

My Husband & I were delighted to be welcomed with flowers and fresh milk. The "tea house"is indeed cozy, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful dishes & glassware. We had a great time lounging about in the morning before starting the day's adventures. We have been to Newport many times and absolutely love walking along 2nd beach, the sand is so fine and smooth on your feet, and the view divine. After eating out for several days, we grilled a couple of grass fed steaks, and had a romantic late night dinner on the back porch. It was a delightful end to a wonderful long weekend! The only suggestions I would make would be for a pair of brass candlesticks for outdoor dining, and in the kitchen a fancy bottle opener, a garlic press, a wooden cutting board, and a large black frying pan.

I really can’t say enough nice things about our experience at Dannielle and Jeff’s place. The home was immaculate and had so many personal touches that made us feel at home. We were welcomed so kindly by Dannielle on the day we arrived, even though we arrived pretty late. There were fresh flowers everywhere and sitting out of the deck was perfect. The location was really nice and was only a quick, affordable Uber ride to downtown. I liked being able to come home to tranquility. Thanks so much for hosting us!

Danielle and Jeff are great hosts. There place is among the cleanest that I’ve ever been in. The flower gardens are great to come home to after a busy day too. Quiet neighborhood but still very close to many activities in Newport.

We were in Newport for the Newport Folk Festival and we were very fortunate to find Danielle and Jeff's place. It was late July and the gardens were in full bloom. Breakfast on the deck among the flowers and the butterflies was pure joy. The space is spotless and tastefully decorated. We highly reccomend it and hope we get to stay there again!

This was one of my best HomeAway experiences. Danielle and Jeff were amazing hosts, and the property itself was fantastic. Impeccably clean and extra comfortable. It was better than being home!

We were welcomed upon arrival and the accommodations were great. Nice personal touches in decor and amenities, very clean and well furnished. Quiet neighborhood only minutes away from the sites and activities. Would highly recommend for anyone considering this as an option.

Charming place and very gracious hosts. We could not have asked for more. The fresh flowers throughout and the well stocked fridge and pantry were very appreciated and a lovely touch. Nice, big bathroom was a bonus!

The property and the hosts ticked all the boxes for us. We wanted/needed a quiet relaxing break on our own and we were able to do this and more. We did not feel the need to dine out and in fact only bothered with one take away because we were so happy with the BBQ/Kitchen and outside seating area. Very relaxing and very comfortable. There are many things to do in the area and the advice given to us either verbally or from the vast amounts of information available was first rate. Would highly recommend

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Danielle and Jeff’s beautiful cottage suite. They are the most welcoming hosts we have ever had! Everything was prepared and ready for our stay. The backyard is a lovely little oasis to sit and read a book. Highly, highly recommended!

Found this little slice of heaven! What a great surprise! The hosts Jeff and Danielle were the best. They are extremely friendly and accomodating. They informed us of where to find the beaches, great local spots to eat such as the Atlantic Grille and Cliff Walk amongst other ideas. The apartment is really clean and decorated really cute. Loved all the pictures and the little sayings along with all the tea decorations...really unique. The hosts have Beautiful flowers around the yard and in beautiful pots on the deck. Upon arrival there were fresh flowers on the kitchen table and bathroom. The deck is great for.morning tea or coffee and afternoon cocktails and just pure relaxation with a good book. Also, Could relax on the beautiful hammock. The hosts were very kind to leave us cookies, candy bar, cream for coffee, butter, biscotti, coffee and a 24 pack of water. The supply of towels were endless. Also, you need not worry if you forgot toothbrush,toothpaste ,shampoo ect...they had the apartment well stocked and cozy for a most enjoyable week. Would definitely consider to stay another time or recommend this location.

Wonderful place to stay! Very cozy, she has an assortment of teas, and she leaves some snacks for her guests as well. Danielle is extremely sweet and welcoming! There are plenty of towels, blankets and a pull down bed if you are staying with a friend and want to sleep separately. The backyard and deck are very relaxing and smell fantastic with all the flowers! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing get away. Plus, it is a very short drive to all the festivities, beach, cliff walk, Newport mansions and more.

Danielle is one of the best hostesses I've met through homeaway. Lots of small details in the apartment made our weekend stay very enjoyable. I recommend this for a couple wanting a quiet or romantic place to stay while visiting the area. Excellent hosts!

Danielle and Jeffrey were awesome. The nicest people you would ever want to me. We were close to everything we wanted to see. So much better than a hotel by far. The rooms were large and well appointed. Had everything we needed an then some. Thank you so much for all the goodies in the kitchen......it was greatly appreciated.

Our stay was much too short, but we rented this cozy spot for an overnight to attend a wedding and do a little sight seeing in Newport. The location is perfect, quiet street, close to town, and the rental itself was adorable! We felt welcome right away, it's just that feeling that you get when you walk in the door, (and it's not just because you are greeted like an old friend by the owners!). It is tastefully decorated, very clean, homey, and exactly like the pictures. We hope to come back again. Thank you Danielle and Jerry! Maribeth & Joe

Extremely kind hosts, paid attention to small details which made us feel at home. Very clean living space. Back patio deck was also a nice touch. Quiet community close to the Cliff Walk. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back!
