We stayed in the home with two other couples for a week. We chose to rent the master suite for the extra bigger bed. The home was very clean, very spacious, well stocked kitchen, plenty of drinking water and everything we could need for the week. Melissa was wonderful to work with. Very responsive to any questions or concerns and met us at the home shortly after arrival to go over things and get us settled. She arranged for Loly to pick us up at the airport and made dinner reservations for us at Pazzo prior to our arrival. We had Dixie cook for our group three nights. That was one of the best decisions we made. Her cooking is fabulous and we had more food than we could eat. We loved being between West End and West Bay. We could walk or take a short water taxi to each location. Clearwater Adventures is a 5 minute walk down the beach and provided excellent diving for the group. Juan Carlos and his little boy, the groundskeeper, brought us coconuts so we could have fresh coconut water. He kept the grounds and pool clean and neat. Good snorkeling right off the dock which is a short walk from the home. We are already planning a trip back!

We had an amazing time on our first visit to Roatan! The house is a perfect location and was just as the picture showed! Melissa was so incredibly helpful before we arrived and after we got there! She was available for any and all of our questions! We used Loly to take us on a tour and for our airport transfers and she was the best! So fun and helpful! Make sure you schedule Dixie to come and cook for your group! That was one of the highlights of our trip! There are so many wonderful things I could say, but you won’t be disappointed if you stay here! We hope to make it back!

We stayed at "A Slice of Paradise" for the 2nd time last month. It was just as wonderful as we remembered it, and it was nice to be able to show my mother in law this beautiful home. We stayed for 11 nights, and we had a blast. The dock connected to this property got a palapa and swing since the last time we visited which was a pleasant surprise. This property is within walking distance of some amazing restaurants and shops. You can catch a water taxi right off the dock, and some boat tour companies will also pick you up right off the dock. So convenient and beautiful.

We stayed here for a week and had the most wonderful time! Melissa was available for questions at all times and she responded within seconds. She made our stay run so smoothly. She arranged pickup from the airport, helped us check in to the home and let us know about things to do on the island. She arranged dinner at the home with Dixie-ceviche, lobster and keylime pie were soooo good! She also arranged a day with Loly who drove us around the island, took us to hold the sloths and boat ride with mangrove tour and snorkeling. Melissa also arranged for us to have a dolphin encounter and then got to snorkel with them. I would highly recommend all of these experiences. We spent a ton of time snorkeling right off the dock and saw eagle rays, many lobsters, an octopus and tons of cool fish. We did a couple of dives with Clearwater Adventures. Tanya was a super instructor and made us all super comfortable during our refresher course (it had been 15 years!). My daughter (who is 17 and not Padi certified) got to dive with us too. She was highly supervised by Tanya while in the water. She LOVED it and we got to see a GIANT sea turtle. As I am writing this, it almost seems like a really wild and amazing dream-but it was real! We can't wait to return!

Perfect property for our stay. 1 minute walk to beach and dock. Just a few minutes to Clearwater Adventures for diving/snorkeling. Kitchen had everything we needed. Clean and beautiful! Melissa was a phenomenal host - very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

If you're like us, you can spend 30 minutes walking from the house to Infinity Bay at the very end of West Bay, swimming, snorkeling, and hitting up the bars and restaurants along the way. This house has a private dock out front where you can catch a $3 water taxi to West Bay or West End. We also booked excursions through Bay Island Adventures to Cayos and Pigeon Cay and were picked up right on our dock. It doesn't get any more convenient than that! We also booked a couple's massage through Roatan mobile massage and they came and gave us a massage in the beautiful, air conditioned living room of the house. This house literally has it all, and is in the perfect location. Melissa was very helpful in answering all of our questions and giving helpful tips about the island. She met us at the house after we picked up some groceries from Eldon's. You can even get delivery from some local restaurants to this house! This was one of the best vacations we've ever taken, and this house/Melissa was part of that reason. You won't be disappointed if you book this house. Can't wait to come back next year, if COVID allows!

The title speaks for itself. I will be staying here again, it is just what I was looking for. Prime and flexible location, quick water taxi ride to either west bay or west end. Clean and comfortable home. Host is very helpfull. Pool is always clean.

Couldn't have chosen a better place! Melissa created an incredible experience for us. We followed her recommendations that included Dixie's cooking, Loly's tour guiding, Clearwater Adventures Scuba Diving, and several great restaurants. This was our first time in Roatan (6 family members) and will for sure be back. The house was larger than expected, well decorated and very clean. Location and couldn't have been better. Thank you for the fabulous time!

Can not say enough about Melissa the house manager. She was always there and available to help us in all ways possible. We fell in love with the spot. Long morning walks on the beach. Great snorkeling and diving. We meet a few of the neighbors who were very kind and helpful. Had to die for dinners on the beach,just a short walk from the house. We enjoyed sitting around the pool just chilling. Dixie came one night and made us a great meal. It’s a must for your to do list. I could go on and on but if you enjoy the sun and turquoise blue water it’s the place to go.

Everything about this property and experience with Melissa was wonderful! The location was private but a nice walk to both West End and West Bay. The pool overlooking the ocean was perfect for cooling off. Melissa shared great ideas for activities. We had a great time!

Loved Roatan. Great location if you don’t mind a bit of a walk in the heat to either West Bay or West End. Water taxis were easy to get. Only suggestion would be to leave an instruction booklet for the guests so everything is laid out for us on anything we may want/need.

Melissa couldn't have made our stay any easier. Brand new infinity pool, new BBQ and an in credible location. You can walk to great restaurants on the beach, water taxis go by all the time, accommodations were incredible. Melissa met us upon arrival from the airport and making the stop at the grocery store for necessary supplies and she provided great instructions to find the house. If you don't follow her instructions to a T you might get a little lost but her instructions are even great in the dark. She came mid-stay to make sure things were going well and provide fresh water and check on what else we might need. That is when she gave us the treasure map to finding the great restaurants that were right down the beach. Melissa even had Merry from the Clearwater Adventures come right to the house to make SCUBA lesson arrangements for the team. Clearwater is again walking distance from the house and Denisse and Merry provided incredible experiences and support for our SCUBA lessons with one-on-one instruction and help. Each major room in the house has its own air-conditioning unit that we used when we were home. The new infinity pool allowed us to take a dig before leaving for the day or when we returned home. They even have a great shower located right next to the pool. I can't think of anything that was missing and we had a great view of the Gulf from the pool. Thanks again Melissa for helping to make this a great vacation.

The house was great, just as advertised. No problems at all. Melissa was very helpful and always available by local phone. A couple pointers: a) There is reef snorkeling just a hundred yards to the east, from the beach. Its okay and you will see a lot of fish and a few lobsters. The kayaks are available for a discount for the week if you want to go out to the better reef, but its a good ways out. Tie up to the bouy out there. Good deal. b) we rented a car and are glad we did. We drove between West End and West Bay all week, and to the zip lining. We could have water taxied and land taxied but are glad we had the flexibility. c) We did the Infinity Bay day passes in West Bay for $19 each and was well worth it to have the beach chairs, pool, pool bar, restaurant, free rum punch and security. Snorkling from the beach was fantastic. We spent two full days there. d). Do the zip line at South Shore Zip Line which is a 5 minute drive towards West Bay. $45 bucks. Excellent! e) Buy groceries at Eldons near the airport. Leave the extras for the staff. f) Try the local food in West End directly across the street from Booty Bar. Food is excellent, local, cheap. Try the Baleadas. g). Take your Apple TV or Amazon Firestick, and your Alexa. Plug them in and enjoy! That's it! Have fun.

The house was better than advertised... couches (not pictured) were extremely comfy! Melissa (property manager) was easy to reach and checked in with us a few times during our to ensure we had everything we needed. Her recommendation to use Denisse at Clearwater Adventures) was on point! They are a 2 min walk down the beach and best dive master we've had in our 18 years of diving! House has everything you need. We did not have a car and didn't need one since it's about a 20 min walk to West Bay or West End. The walk to west end does have some rocks and I'm only mentioning this for people that need 100% flat sand surface....elderly, baby strollers etc... should go by water or land taxi. Water taxi's are easily flagged down from the dock and cost $3 per person for the 4 min ride. One note: one thing we didn't read about in our research regarding Roatan is that while they do take american money, it better not have the slightest rip in it or they won't take it....especially larger bills $20-$100. Make sure to bring lots of lower denomination bills for tipping. Paying in cash will save you 18% tax at most places, so worth bringing as much cash as you feel comfortable bringing!!!

Melissa was awesome to work with, she was always available. Fresh water was delivered each day. The beds had plenty of pillows and the bathrooms plenty of towels, the kitchen was stocked. Lots of room in this home, very comfortable. We would totally stay here again.

Lovely house - perfect for our group of 7. Well appointed kitchen. Melissa was extremely responsive to any questions we had - including services around the island. Quiet, private, but close to all of the fun between West End and West Bay. Denise at Clearwater Diving close by and very easy to access for snorkeling or diving. I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Roatan!
