Property was good. Location also good.. just 5 minutes walk from mall road.

Internet was not working. It felt awkward when you booked this pricey property at around 12k per night they tell you snooker table will be charged extra. Kind of funny actually..

The property is at prime location little away from the crowded areas so could enjoy the natural beauty of the place. The hotel is an old property of YWCA and very well maintained, cleanliness was spot on. He room was nice and clean. Staff were courteous and at service at the blink of a call. Sitting outside in the garden and having breakfast and tea or even reading a book was the best experience on the property.

The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan which made it little uncomfortable. Though there was a big window provided but could not open it as it opened on the garden side. Steam built up after bath or the smell after using wc took time to go off. Also there was a big gap between the door through which one could peep in the bathroom. I had a small kid so was always conscious whenever We used the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean though. Yet only this part was a downer. Also there are no other indoor amenities to spend the day, esp for kids apart from some swing and all. A pool table and table tennis was provided but was paid. Food was excellent but very expensive.

Food is extremely overpriced. No matter how premium the place is, it is still not a 5 star property. So charging Rs 300 for a plate of steamed rice which serves exactly one hungry adult is not justified.

The facilities , the staff , the rooms and the view are very good.Peaceful and quite .Food is good .

The only drawback is the location , property driver required to drive uphill to the property , once you reach the property , very difficult to move around .Food has to be taken in the property and is expensive.

Hotel look

The room booked was not upto the mark. It is literally a pigeon hole , without even a window. Its in the furthest corner of the hotel, under a staircase. The access to hotel is treacherous. Very risky for car. Had to call hotel driver to drive the car up. Couldnt take out the car for 3 days.

The charm of the place is the space. An old YWCA building has been converted into the hotel. The building is over 100 yrs old. The garden facing room on the ground floor that we had was huge and beautiful. The outside, shared spaces are also lovely. It is down one of the offshoots from Mall Road and very very accessible on foot.

The breakfast is quite average. The spread could have been a lot more, the food a lot fresher. Considering that, a stay there is a little pricey.
