It is a great location, only complaint we had was the dish washer was full of dirty dishes and all trash cans were completely full of trash when we arrived so we had to clean when we arrived and take out trash.

Very good stay enjoy the unit. When we arrived we had no A/C and it didn’t work. Room temperature was 84 degrees. Sleeping wasn’t fun. Property manager did get it working at 4pm the next afternoon. She was very helpful but it should have been checked before we arrived.

Great location, next to Red Hook, place has what you need, great value for the price, no regrets, online states can do two beds or king in one room but is only king, says can go to gym at hotel next door but gym was destroyed in 2017, shows 11am checkout, even has hard plastic permanent sign in place but checkout is 10am. AC works good in garden view room, not in ocean view, that room is upper 70’s. But overall very positive, get a lot for the price. Had a great vacation.

Stocked and the view from the balcony is just gorgeous. My kids loved running down to the beach and pool and Sangrias restaurant was super convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay on Cowper Bay. We had a wedding weekend to attend at the Ritz Carlton, then moved over to the condo. The building is older and shows it with settlement cracks, and popcorn ceilings and walls. The pictures are accurate, so take a look. Power went out four times and water once, but I think that is par for the Islands. Also, if you like it really cold, the A/C will only cool to 72o. We found it comfortable. Groceries are expensive, so we ate breakfasts and lunch that we made in the very well equipped kitchen. The balcony view is superb.

Great location and view from the balcony. The pool is also fantastic. A few things arent up to par though: 1 bathroom door doesnt shut properly, 1 bedroom has no blinds or curtains which creates a privacy issue 100%, the sliding doors to the balcony open and close very awkwardly allowing you to accidentally leave one section open to the hot air. Also, it is a VERY rude awakening to open the door to 85°s and thermostat set to heat @ 85°. This isnt a great first impression to ANYONE.

Rent a vehicle on day one. Getting taxis were not worth the effort. Stay left....big red barge it to st john. You'll enjoy it. The veiw from the condo is mesmerizing daily. Enjoy....

The condo was in a great location right on the beach. It has two restaurants and a bar. My group of four was there for work and with the big table outside on the patio, we had plenty of room for our computers. The condo had a lot of cats. If you have allergies or have children allergic to cats, I would not recommend staying here as 3-4 cats were hanging out of the doorstep.

Great place! This was our second time staying here and we look forward to going back. It is very well stocked and just a short walk to the beach.

This was our 1st trip to USVI and it was a great location, value and condo. The location close to Red Hook was perfect, the on location beach was awesome and not too packed. Also enjoyed the onsite Bar / Restaurant. The condo had a lot of great accommodations that allowed us to cook in, wash clothes and towels. Plenty of beach towels as well!

I wasn’t sure whether to trust the online reviews, but I must say they were exactly right… An awesome location, gorgeous view of the ocean, excellent beach, amazing snorkeling, nice clean pool, and a very responsive host (Brittany). Would definitely revisit this location.

Don't just sit on the beach drinking beer like a tourist! This beautiful location is the perfect base camp for exploring the history, culture and conservation lands within the Virgin Islands. An authentic experience full of meaning is here and this wonderful location has everything you need to support many day trips on this island and neighboring islands as well. Beautiful!

We arranged for provisioning to avoid a trip to the grocery store upon arrival. Ended up (and left) a lot of items as the condo is so well stocked. It has toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, salt and pepper, zipper bags, etc. Also has several different cooler sizes for beach trips and several beach chairs for beach hopping. Drying rack with clothes pins on balcony was perfect for wet swim suits. Tons of beach towels, bath towels etc.
Cowpet Bay location is fantastic. Close to Red Hook restaurants and Sapphire Marina for excursions. Beach has plenty of chairs and shade trees. Beautiful beach without a ton of people. Caribbean Fish Mkt and Sangrias on the beach have good food. Billy and Rico at the pool bar make great drinks and are good guys to chat with.
Stairs to and from the beach were not an issue for us but may be for folks with mobility issues. Stray cats were mentioned in another review. We saw none by the condo and very few in the area. Bay side bedroom mattress was firm…I loved this. View from balcony is AMAZING. This is a lower level condo with a condo above.

The property manager was very responsive whenever we had a question both before and during our stay. The unit was as expected pictures diffently give a good representation of the unit. And it was extremely well stocked . Only complaint any of us had is the mattresses are very hard a good mattress topper would go a long way at making the beds more comfortable. Would diffently rent again.

My family of 4 stayed here for 5 nights. We have good and bad things to say. The location was excellent. The beach on property was beautiful and even had good snorkeling. Wonderful view from balcony although it is quite a hike down steep stairs to get to the beach/pool. The property is mostly as it looks in photos. The beach photos don’t do it justice. The condo was clean, had lots of beach towels, beach equipment and coolers which was very nice.
I had a few issues that would cause us not to stay in this condo again. First, the doors inside are all shutter type which makes it extremely hard to be quite anywhere you are inside. We would wake up before the kids and my husband before me. I woke up hearing him make coffee, go out the loud front door, tv on, shower, literally anything. Also the upstairs neighbor would wake us almost every morning around 6-6:30 with loud walking, scooting furniture or something heavy, one morning a vacuum or drill type noise. The bed in the front room (bedroom 2) was very uncomfortable. And the room had sheer curtains. It was listed as garden view but it’s really just some plants at the base of the walkway. The sheer curtains made it to where our kids were scared to sleep in that room and the morning light also came in quite early as well as moonlight at night. Also the kitchen pans could use an upgrade. Smaller size skillets and I could barely cut an onion with the knives. Overall we had a great trip and didn’t let some of the issues we had with the condo affect our trip b/c the location and beautiful island were so wonderful.

Great rental condo!!! Extremely clean and has a beautiful view!!!! Good food is 5 minutes away and about 8 minutes from a grocery store so everything is very convenient. The condo is well stocked with everything a person needs from blankets to towels to kitchen items. I highly recommend it!!!!

We had a great time on St Thomas and the condo is very close to Red Hook (3 min drive). The view every morning was amazing. All the amenities you could need - including wine opener, beach towels and coolers! We went off-season so it was very quiet and the beach was empty every day.

USVI are beautiful and same goes for this location on Cowper bay, great view from balcony. Centrally located to RedHook, ferries to St John. Condo has snorkel gear, floats, coolers, home away from home. . Brittany and her father made this a great trip with look to return again. Jeff

Property, manager and owners are very responsive. Are flight home was canceled due to weather and we needed to stay an extra day (all day). The flight was scheduled for a 6:40 departure time and they allowed us to stay until late in the day . I would totally recommend 39 leeward. Thanks again!

We had the best time staying here. Everything was as described, the location was perfect, and so comfortable too! Having everything we needed to make our stay so comfortable. The beach was so close and beautiful! We had snorkel geer and coolers to use as well. There was so much information at the house to help us with taxi service or food, grocery choices it was awesome. The restaurants were so close and offered many different selections. It was all amazing! Would highly recommend this place!

I ended up making friends with the mail center lady who was beyond helpful to get my package via USPS in the states. When in this business you are responsible for the customer's experience overall. Hotels have a protocol when things are left there should be the same case here. It's unfortunate but if you not into cats nor customer service, I would not select this place.

Wedding Bliss
We hosted our wedding on this beach this past week and we couldn’t be more happy with the ease and comfort this stay provided for us as a couple to relax and retreat to. Hats off to Brittany and Lorice for providing us with a second stay on such a perfect week. Thank you can’t wait to stay again soon!

Great for families
We loved the location and all the items in the condo. There were beach chairs, snorkel gear, coolers, and plenty of other items that we used and did not have to rent. Thank you for all the extra items that made it a home away from home. We loved it here! We even messaged the owner when we showed up at the wrong place and they were quick to respond and help.

Great Vacation!
We were very pleased with the accommodations. The condo was quite big and had everything you needed to enjoy our week stay.
The beach was great with only one minor hiccup, if you have a handicap or are elderly there are several stairs (60+) you will need to go down to get access to the beach.
There are 2 restaurants on the property with good food, but was disappointed that if you just wanted to grab something light for dinner at the chicki hut they only served pizza from 6-8pm. Could not order of the full menu. Also only had the pool bar open from 12-6pm with no food service.
Food on the island was good but a heavy price as well.
If you do not rent a vehicle, taxi's are your only option to get around the island which is extremely expensive. A 3 minute drive to Red Hook cost a party of 4 $20 ($5 p/p). Sapphire Beach $10 p/p and the airport is $20 p/p. Every fare is per person in a vehicle.
A trip to St. John's by ferry is a must as the beaches are beautiful. Woody's Barbecue is a very small place, but a must place to eat on the island.
All in all our trip was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Was an excellent choice for our son and his family
My son and his family stayed in the Condo while we stayed in a one bedroom unit down from this one in the same resort. The unit was fully outfitted with everything they needed for a fabulous vacation. The view of Cowpet bay was spectacular. The only negative was the lack of the process for checking out in both the pre stay email and in the condo. I would highly recommend this condo for any family.

The condo was as advertised, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially liked the large pool and hot tub. Short walk to the Caribbean Fish market restaurant, the beach, pool and Sangria beach bar/restaurant.

Beautiful condo
Great experience, except for issue getting the entrance gate code. Called property manager listed in my vrbo itinerary, who was no longer handling the property. Through some ingenuity and motivation i got the gate opened. This was not good at all. However the property was awesome. Get your itinerary fixed, and thank you for the great experience.

This was my fourth time staying at this specific condo unit in Cowpet. Had a great time again as before. Love the location on the East End, the proximity to restaurants, the view from the condo, and all the amenities, especially the updated kitchen, washer & dryer in the unit, and the beach supplies. Looking forward to visiting again next year!
