Tranquil Retreat w/ private National Forrest access, pond & creek
La nostra splendida proprietà che domina la Wet Mountain Valley ha uno stagno, un torrente di latticello e un accesso privato alla foresta nazionale di San Isabel e al sentiero arcobaleno di 90 miglia lungo le montagne del Sangre de Christo. Paradiso dei cacciatori. Addormentarsi al suono dell'acqua corrente e sorseggiare un caffè nel gazebo vicino allo stagno. Di notte accendi il fuoco nella stufa a legna e mentre sei caldo e vedi le fiamme danzare nella nostra accogliente casa con il ponte avvolgente e le viste sulla valle umida della montagna con molti boschi, prati, sentieri, laghi per barca e pesce.
O accendi un fuoco nel nostro anello di fuoco mentre guardi il cielo notturno.

La casa dispone di due camere con letti Queen, una camera con 2 letti singoli che possono essere uniti per formare un letto "kIng", 2 letti singoli sul soppalco superiore. 2 divani che si trasformano in letti.
Una deliziosa cucina nuova di zecca per cucinare e avvolgere portico e coperta per godere della vista e del suono del torrente

This is a great property...something like 40 acres that backs up to a national park. It's really a beautiful track of land with an easy short hike up the back of the property to get onto the Rainbow Trail (100 mile trail in the San Isabel National Forest). Communication with Reto (owner) was easy & he was super responsive. The house is extremely well stocked. My kids loved the horses, chickens, cats & especially the two great Pyrenees dogs (who kept a good eye on us as we hiked Rainbow Trail...they hiked 3 miles with us staying in front & behind as we went).

The property is a real retreat from the routine of work . In the heart of the Sangre Cristo Mountains not far from Westcliffe, Colorado. With the lovable farm dogs, chickens, horses, cats and hummingbirds. The Rainbow Trail is less than a quarter mile up into the higher elevations. The hosts were very considerate that all our needs were met. Pam and I will probably plan on a return trip next year. I highly recommend this property. Chuck

Property was as described. Owners were very helpful. We stayed a week on vacation, and used this as a base for going to many attractions 1.5 hours or less from here. Would recommend it to others. Property was clean, fully stocked, had all items needed for a week's stay. Beautiful setting at base of mountains, overlooking farming valley below. We were concerned about 6 miles of gravel road because of much rain in the afternoons for the entire week, but it didn't end up being a problem for our passenger car.

The property was actually better than what was put forth to me on VRBO when searching! The house very comfortable with everything needed for great stay. The hosts were fantastic and we all enjoyed our interactions with them. What a truly interesting couple. As added bonus loved their doggies!
