Adorable Cottage with Americana Theme, in the Heart of Gearhart.

The charm factor was 100%. The location was good. There are things that are out of anyone's control... The house builders on the next street, starting work at 7:30 AM. The neighbor sawing, someone working on their car. Things were quite after 11PM. Had trouble with the shower. With a very high step bathtub, a grab bar would be a safe addition. If the shower curtain ring was wider, the curtain wouldn't stick to you and there would be enough room to actually shower. One final suggestion would be a tea kettle. A little off-putting that the carpet wasn't vacuumed very well.

The place was very clean and cozy. There was a small but nice selection of dvd's to watch. There were lots of seats available in the livingroom. Our only complaint is the king size bed was not comfortable, it felt like a boxspring, and there were no fans available. The house gets very, very warm. The street was very quiet and we felt safe. It's such a cute little town.

Two things: Most important is bathroom. Not ADA compliant and it should say so. No hand rails. Additionally, commode is very difficult to access (very low height) with very cramped space, no assist handles. There is an outdoor fire ring, but the plastic chairs that are in a locked shed and inaccessible. Finally, better instructions on electronics (from TV to temp gauge for gas heater) WIFI--though WIFI instructions were fine. Would not stay here again because of bathroom. Regards, Cliff Barnett
