The house is definitely an old family home, we were even visited by the owners one day (90 and 85 years old) as they pottered in the garden! The location is exceptional. The house could do with some upgrades, an air conditioner or a fan and the hot water system leaked. But the view is gorgeous and we had a happy week here.
Apparently you have to book towels and sheets through their booking system before arriving. It is not at all clear, so we had the first few days without sheets which was unpleasant. Took many messages with Interhome staff to rectify. Also, the cleaners left all the garbage bins outside full of rubbish (one absolutely putrid and rotten) which we had to deal with ourselves.
