Portara Seaside Luxury Suites

The best things about the property were the staff, especially Janine, and the location. Location was very walkable to all of the restaurants, tavernas, beaches, castle, Temple of Apollo, and port area. We could see the Temple of Apollo from our rooms. We arrived and departed by ferry and the location was VERY convenient. The restaurants, bakeries and tavernas close to the rooms were all great. We also took an island tour and the pick up spot for the bus was very close to our rooms. You don't have to rent a vehicle since a majority of the area is walkable. The small alleyways and Old Town with shops, tavernas and restaurants were really enjoyable and we loved exploring them and the castle.

The weather (out of our control) was windy and rainy. Some of the rooms had issues, mostly due to the weather, close proximity to the Sea and the uncommon windy conditions, but Janine was GREAT in getting the issues resolved.

Great location. Modern comfort. Amenities and hospitality were exceptional. Only about a block from the port. Jannine was so wonderful and met us at the port to help us with parking on site. Offered tips on Island. She went beyond for us. Water, coffee, robes and wine provided to us. Id definitely stay again. Was super windy the day we were there in early Sept.

Wish the hot tub heat was adjustable. Luke warm made you keep wishing for the perfect hot tub experience bc the views were incredible!

Everything was perfect! The location is the best imaginable, the jacuzzi in front of the ocean is breathtaking, everything was very clean, Janine was so nice and helpful, and to top it off the courtesy wine just makes you feel welcomed!

Nothing

Great location right on the ocean front. Watching the waves from bed was excellent. Very clean.

No hot water for the entire stay. Cold showers were not appreciated. Told our host bug it wasn’t corrected. Wifi didn’t work - not corrected. Lost water completely for a few hours but not the hotels fault.
