YOU CAN RENT ONE OR TWO HOUSES INDEPENDENTLY (4 BEDS+1 PER HOUSE ).
"Cinciarella" and "Peppola" are two recently restored independent houses set in a beautiful private 'fairytale park' setting, belonging for centuries, to an aristocratic family, on the hills surrounding Sarzana, an ancient town with a wonderful historical center (walking distance from the houses).
"Borgo del Castello" is divided in two separate homes which may be rented together or separately. The first and larger of the two homes is named "Cinciarella" and the smaller house is "Peppola".
"Cinciarella" is composed of 3 floors and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upon entering ground level, "Cinciarella" has a dining room with a table for six, a nice and well equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom. Downstairs is a small living room with a fireplace which overlooks the garden area. The upper level has a master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with a single bed and a pull out trundle bed and a bathroom with a Victorian style bathtub.
"Peppola" is a two story rental. Upon entering the first floor is a small living room area, a guest bathroom (wc and sink) and a small but well equipped kitchen. On the second floor there is a master bedroom and another bedroom with one single bed and a pull out trundle bed. Between the two bedrooms is the bathroom with a shower.
The houses were just recently restored and have been very tastefully decorated. Each house has wonderful outdoor areas for dining outdoors and enjoying the quiet country atmosphere.

Located at the base of the hills where Liguria meets Tuscany, Sarzana is 30km away from the Natural Park of Cinque Terre and 12km from the Natural Park of Monte Marcello, it's also in an ideal position to explore Northern Tuscany (15 km from Carrara's marble caves on the Apuan Alps, the best natural environment for a refreshing walk; 30 km from Forte dei Marmi and its beaches, 35km from Viareggio, and 60 km from Lucca and Pisa). The closest airports are Pisa (60km) and Genova (100 km).

Das Haus ist wie auf den Fotos mit einer schönen Terrasse mitten in einem parkähnlichen Garten . Die Vermieterin und ihre Familie wohnen im Sommer direkt gegenüber. Sie sind zuvorkommend und wirklich sehr nett und helfen bei allen Fragen sehr gut weiter. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist ok, könnte noch etwas erweitert werden (Mokkakocher für 2-3 Personen und Weingläser wären beispielsweise toll). Die Tips der Vermieterin sind sehr gut und haben uns zu tollen ganz typischen Restaurants und schönen Stränden geführt. Pisa und Lucca sind ebenso wie die Cinque Terre in jeweils einem Tagesausflug gut erreichbar. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

we had a wonderful stay at these two homes. check in was easy as they met us at the property with a smile and kindly showed us around the houses. we very much enjoyed our stay. the grounds of the house are beautiful. we enjoyed dinners outside under the olive tree. both houses have good working kitchens and everything you would need during your stay. they are also nicely decorated and very clean. i would recommend renting both houses. our family enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. thank you to the very thoughtful and kind owners.

Ci è stata assegnata la più piccola delle 2 case. Spazi ristretti. Posizione incantevole, in un parco privato, fronteggiante un castello di fine '700, ma un po' troppo lontana dal centro per raggiungerlo a piedi. La proprietaria è stata molto gentile e solerte nel fronteggiare una serie di malfunzionamenti. L'appartamento necessiterebbe di una manutenzione preventiva più efficace.
