The property had been exceptionally well restored and bought upto date with all mod-cons. Father Philip was a most welcoming host. Plenty to do in the area to keep you occupied for a week.
The music from the pub across the road went on a bit loud and long on Saturday evening but ear plugs soon sorted that problem!

If you like history, you will love this accomodation. It has a perfect mix of old heritage feel & still being recently renovated & modern facilities. The location is on incredible grounds with lovely walks just moments away. A true English country side dream

The cosy log fire
Clambering up the steep steps the lumpy pillows and having to get our own bin liners
