The property was generally exactly as described, the kitchen and lounge were good, and plenty of off road parking

There were unfortunately a couple of issues. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned very well, and the floorboards upstairs and on the stairs creaked very loudly which meant my friend and I woke each other up if one of us needed the loo in the night or had to get up early. The wooden bed in the second bedroom also creaked which meant I didn’t sleep brilliantly.

Location and overall size and layout of the property were good. Good kitchen facilities.

The lounge smelled badly of dogs, there were throws on both sofas which were smelling of dogs and with dog hairs on them. When we had to take these throws off, the settees had hairs on them. The odour was bad enough to set off my chest - we are previous dog owners so anti pet - badly allergic. Floor boards upstairs need attending to - very noisy. Overall it was hard to settle into the property due to dog odour still being around - even after our 4th day with windows being opened etc. It spoiled the stay. For the record, we rarely leave bad reviews and where we stay away for work around 50% of our working time.
