Feels remote. Woodland setting but only 10/15 mins walk into villlage. Lovely forest walks just outside the door.
Only complaint would be no WiFi but it was good to get away from social media for a weekend so not sure it’s really a complaint.

Comfortable, clean and well equipped lodge in peaceful surroundings.
A little difficult to find from the car park- could do with a sign to the lodge, but Alison was on the end of the phone for guidance.
Tv reception was weak to non-existent, although not too much of a bother for me.

The location was lovely, and the Lodge was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped.
We would have liked some instructions for the heating, as it took us a while to work it out, and it was hard to know what the presets were. A simple instruction sheet would have helped a lot.
In the bathroom, a non-slip mat for in the bath would help, especially as there are no handles.
