'Our Point of View' si trova nel quartiere Saunders Point sul lago Smith Mountain, vicino alla diga SML - boa marker C2. È immerso in una grande insenatura dove è possibile praticare jet ski e sci d'acqua senza entrare nel vicino corpo principale del lago.
Potrai rilassarti con una tazza di caffè al mattino presto, godendoti la vista completa sul lago e sulla Smith Mountain. E puoi farlo stando seduto nell'incantevole e spaziosa cucina, o sul comodo ponte anteriore - o rilassandoti vicino all'acqua sul grande ponte.
La pendenza molto dolce del grande cortile conduce al grande ponte dove tutti possono godersi il sole e l'acqua. C'è un ponte coperto che permette un po 'd'ombra dal sole di mezzogiorno.
La casa dispone di quattro camere da letto - con due letti matrimoniali al piano principale, due gemelli nel soppalco e un letto matrimoniale in una camera da letto nel seminterrato. La cucina è pulita ed efficiente, ha tutti gli elettrodomestici necessari e un sacco di spazio negli armadietti.
La sala giochi con biliardino e tavolo da ping pong nel seminterrato è perfetta per i bambini in quei rari giorni di pioggia.
La pesca dello Smith Mountain Lake è spettacolare - con catture record ogni anno. Per gli appassionati di golf, ci sono diversi campi da golf locali stimolanti.

The location and view is spectacular. The house is very clean and fit our family nicely. The loft with the two beds was great for my young kids and the two bedrooms on the main floor were good but they are right next to each other so you don’t have a ton of privacy. One thing to note is that sheets and towels are not provided. We found out when we got there that it is indicated in the amenities list, but I never saw it anywhere in the listing when I booked or leading up to the stay. So I’m putting it here for folks so that hopefully you don’t have the same issues we did. All in a great stay!

Property is in a great location on a beautiful and calm part of the lake. The house isn't huge but is laid out well and worked great for our two families. The stairs downstairs (where the 2nd bathroom is located) are a bit tricky. We had an issue with an odor in the house when we first arrived but the owners were very responsive and able to resolve it.

A nice property with an excellent view and dock for boating and swimming. The only thing to note for families with children under 3 is the banisters on the loft and deck are not child proof vertical banisters, but horizontal ones. Unsupervised children could easily fall through.

This place is well thought out and well made making it a very lovely place to stay. We took a family vacation here with our grown up children. The common areas were spacious and the living/family room looks out onto the lake without the sun streaming into the house (they angled the windows well--very clever). This room opened up to the best deck we've ever experienced. You could be in the shade or the sun. The step, as you can see in the picture, can serve as a seating area. It just merges into the grassy area which leads to the lake. Very beautiful. We're swimmers and appreciated that this property is on a quiet cove, but plenty deep enough to swim. They had a good AC, which didn't really need except in the late afternoon. The place is well made.We found the bedrooms quiet and private and the beds were comfortable. The place was very clean. In fact, it's the cleanest place we've ever rented. We typically rent up in Maine for the summer. This is the first time we rented a home in Virginia. We thought the price was reasonable.
