This was the perfect place for a spring trip! The condo was like new, clean, quiet. Great location and views of the ocean! We will definitely be back.

the day we checked in and walked up onto the porch of the unit before ya open the door you will stand for minuties looking out over the for the inside exactly what the pictures show ya on the web..what a place...pool was great and very clean.the week was so quiet.. walked the beach many time up and down..made sure we got up early every moring for the sun rise.. was a great view from our porch...grilled all week was the best...went to conners grocery store for all our needs..went to Angelo's Pizza couple time was great food..took the Hatteras Ferry to the island of Ocracoke and yes the ferry was free..and yes we rebooked the same place for next year...thanks to all at lighthouse view oceanfront..like we say 5 stars all the way around

This was our second year at Lighthouse View and our first in this cottage. Very clean, loved the set up. Was perfect for us and our two kids. The single floor living is so nice when keeping up with little ones! High quality washer and dryer under the house, very friendly staff, and the pool was wonderful after a day at the beach. Already booked it again for next year :)

The beach was fine even with the dredging. We checked in on Saturday one of our group got sick and took him to hospital Tuesday afternoon they kept him. We got back at midnight Tuesday night packed up and checked out so we really didn’t get to experience much more than hospitals this year as they transferred my brother in law to Chesapeake Va regional medical center. Maybe next year

We were here for 2 weeks and enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean and bed was comfortable. Kitchen could have used a larger skillet (we cooked in for breakfast etc) but overall had necessary kitchenware. A storm the week before removed part of the beach leaving us closer to the water. We enjoyed watching the surfers and waves. Conners local grocery is great. Good restaurants and things to do close by.

Weve rented the same house for four years, It is always extremely clean. Its like its a brand new house every time we arrive . Its very modern from the granite/marble countertops ,appliances to the LVP flooring. Everything you need except groceries and clothing are provided

This is the second year we have stayed in this unit and both years have been exceptional experiences! The unit was pristine when we entered and the appliances, dishes, post and pans were plentiful. First rate time. The best part was the check-in and check-out process was handled by text and we didn't have to wait for assistance in the front office. We actually so no one in the front office at all! Nice!

The cottage is in good shape. Very clean and well maintained. The only thing I wanted to mention is that the property pictures are not accurate. The water is very close to the cottage during high tides and as such beach is only accessible during low tides. Also there are large sand bags placed to contain beach erosion and so it was not easy for elders in the family to safely walk to the beach. Overall it was good experience and stay during this pandemic!

Great location...strange high pitched noise
Cute, clean functional unit literally steps fron the waves. It was warm . Our only issue was a strange intermittent high pitched noise that could be heard clearly in the bedroom so it impacted our sleep. Otherwise perfect

We checked in after dark and could hear the beautiful sound of the ocean and waves crashing the shore. In the morning, we saw an awesome view of the ocean! Loved the house! It was clean, roomy and just the right size for us. Great location for a winter getaway.

GARBAGE DUMPSTER- GARBAGE EVERYWHERE
We absolutely LOVED the rental. House well appointed, great furnishings, comfy bed & beautiful views.
My one & ONLY COMPLAINT was the amount of garbage in the dumpster. It was COMPLETELY overflowing with garbage. So much that bags were falling out, splitting open & wind blowing it everywhere INCLUDING OUR BEAUTIFUL OCEAN. I picked up as much as possible.
I called twice, & both times I was assured the garbage would be dumped that night. NOPE.
By the smell, maggots & fullness it most likely hadn't been dumped in a few weeks.
PLEASE, PLEASE make sure this is taken care of. For the sake of our ocean.

We could see the ocean a stone's throw away from us from our deck. There were lots of people fishing, people stayed distanced, walking the beach was a dream. The unit is simply furnished with minimal kitchen equipment and linens. Maintenance was prompt when we needed a few things attended to. We came for the ocean, and the location couldn't be beat.

We once stayed in a house just in front of the one we recently stayed in. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't get that one again because we remembered how beautiful the ocean views were from there. When we arrived at our beach house this time we were utterly amazed at how the ocean front had changed so that we were actually closer to the ocean than our first time. If I had the time every year to stay at this spot I certainly would. Absolutely terrific vacation home. It is wonderful to be able to see the sun and the moon rise over the ocean and you can do that right from the porch. The beach is great and only a few steps away.

The unit we had was great! I needed last minute changes from a "non" Mexico vacation and Beach Break 251 was available for the exact time! It was easy to rent, payments were reasonable and I had missed the insurance when booking, and it was added on very easily with an email. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. Excellent choice!

As return vacationers at Lighthouse View we again had a great experience and vacation.The staff is the most friendly and accomodating and are truly personal to their guests.i definite bi-yearly stop for us at the Lighthouse View. Rentals are always well cleaned and stocked with the weekly necessities.

The place was very clean and Wonderful for the price. It says it sleeps six but would not recommend more than 4. The views are fantastic! You cannot see the lighthouse but at night you can see the light sweep by so that is neat. The road into the place is in serious disrepair but that is not the fault of the property owner though. The washer and dryer are very convenient and free which is great. Just be prepared for sand everywhere. Would totally stay here again!
