We had a great stay (7 days) in this condo. Upon entering, it had a slight smell (I did notate this is my “first impressions” survey). I’m unsure if it was something the previous renters cooked or what, it was a slight musty odor, nothing air freshener couldn’t fix. Another bummer was that they were fixing something in the garage, so the personal parking spot was not usable for us during our stay. There are two large and spacious rooms with a comfy chair in the master. Both bedrooms had their own bathroom with tub and built in shower. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The bunks in the hallway were perfect for my 3 kids (5, 8 and 10, two kids shared the top bunk) they used the smaller bathroom, with the smaller bedroom (cat and jack doors). I LOVED the washer and dryer, great set. There are two beach chairs included also, which was great. The view from the balcony overlooks the huge swimming pool and the view of the beach was awesome. The pool was heated, as described, and felt great with the chill in the air. This condo has easy access to the beach and isn’t a far drive from town. There were also games and the TVs are smart TVs, so we were able to log into our apps easily. Coffee pot, dishes and pots/pans were all in great shape. This condo was well taken care of. Overall we had a great stay and would rent again! Thank you!

We spent our 25th Anniversary at our favorite place on earth!! The weather was PERFECT and the location of our Condo was PERFECT, It was a PERFECT way to spend our Sliver Anniversary!!

renting the property through Brooks & Shorey was very easy. We appreciate the repeat business discount that was automatically extended to us. We were disappointed that the parking garage was closed for repairs and that we had to park outside, since a parking space is included in the rent. There was no offer of a discount for not having the garage unavailable. We appreciate the beach setup being included with the condo rent and used that every day.

We just spent a week at Pelican Isle 510 & it was so perfect I've already inquired about booking it for the same time next year! I've rented alot of vacation condos over the years on different beaches and this was by far the best ever. It was a girls trip, me and my bestie and on the way home we tried to think of one thing that we could suggest for improvement and we came up with nothing. Perfect location for everything. Perfect layout in condo for privacy. Everything worked. 2 chairs and umbrella provided was a huge plus. Managing staff were very easy to work with and communicative. Would highly recommend.

I had never been to the Fort Walton/Okaloosa Island area. When I opened the door to the room I was thrilled already. Decor was never and room was clean. Kitchen had everything need to function for our stay. The main and guest beds were very comfortable. The bunk beds though we did not use for very quaint and fun! The water was gorgeous and the complimentary chairs we had were amazing. Will definitely go back and stay in the same room! Only downfall was the sleeper couch in the living room was very worn and not comfortable. The step in and out to the balcony tripped me many times as well.

Condo was perfect! The extra room in the master bedroom was a major factor for us and our two kids. We had plenty of space for everyone! It was clean and had all the essentials needed for a week’s stay. (I would add a few more bath towels for future guests but we just washed them every other day)
The location was perfect on the beach, beach service was amazing, and restaurants were close by! We will stay here again! Great place to relax and recharge!

Wonderful week in the Gulf. Property staff were polite and everything was easily accessible. Our room layout was great for 2 families and everything was clean. The kitchen was decently stocked (we always bring most of our kitchen needs) for the usual beach goer.

We enjoyed our vacation and the time away. The beach was beautiful. The pool was quite cold, but we still enjoyed it. The view was beautiful. We didn’t realize when we booked that stores/restaurants were as far away as they were, which was disappointing. There was only one elevator working during our stay. We let the property management company know ahead of time that we would be in early and were disappointed that they didn’t make an early check in available. We were notified at the same time as everyone else, at approximately 4:10 PM

The unit was clean and beautiful and the view was amazing. A couple things to consider....we were given one wash cloth for two bathrooms. That was not ideal. The toilet in the hall bathroom was difficult to flush. Sometimes it flushed, sometimes it took several attempts. The light switch in the master bath is finicky. If you don't tap it lightly to the left the lights won't stay on. Although my cousin and I got a good laugh out of the lights going out while I was showering and me screaming like a 7 year old kid, others may not find that as humorous and it may be difficult for some to navigate themselves out of that tub in the dark. It is a beautiful, very clean unit with a great view. Thank you for sharing it with us.

We relaxed and truly enjoyed ourselves for the first time in a LONG time. The accommodations and overall cleanliness was top notch!!! It made it hard for us to go back to Pennsylvania. We loved staying in this area. It was quiet and not crowded at all. We will certainly come back to the area, but I can't say that I would stay in this unit again. It was just dirty. There were things left on the floor that shouldn't have been there if it were properly cleaned. I found a past renter's wax earplugs in the guest room, trash under the beds and end tables, built up dust on the wall hair dryer, unidentifiable stains on the wall in the living room, and lots of mold and gunk in the guest bath shower doors. I would expect with having to pay cleaning fees that the unit would have been cleaned much better. I will say that Brooks and Shorey was good to respond to the maintenance requests that we submitted, and the unit wasn't so bad that we asked them to reclean it. We discovered much of the grosser things as the week went on, and by that time we had tracked in our own sand and had our own messes, and it would not have been fair to ask for a cleaning at that point.

A only dislike was the way the beach service set up chairs and umbrellas. Past years have been in a straight line, this year was a U shape. Not all chairs were beach front. The facility and condo were great!!

Pelican Isle Condo Rm 510
I would like to thank the home owner for sharing their condo with my family. The condo was decorated beautifully. The cleaning staff had done an awesome job. I always bring cleaning products with me but I didnt have to clean when we got there (which was nice). It was very nice to have the complimentary umbrella and chairs on th beach. The girls in th office were extremely nice. Thank you again for allowing us to stay. We had a very good time!!
