The place was perfectly clean, comfortable and had a great view. It was nice to have chairs for the beach and a decent kitchen setup to cook breakfast. I will confirm that the neighborhood is loud and the hill is steep. However, the short walk to town is very convenient and the rental golf-cart made it up and down the hill just fine.

My family had a great stay. The place was clean and comfortable and the view from the deck was amazing. It's a great location - close to town and restaurants and a short drive to great snorkeling. We would definitely return next time were on Culebra!

We really enjoyed our time in Culebra and at Williams slice of heaven. The time on the porch was the absolute best!! Watching the birds, the bay and the boats was so relaxing in the am and at night. We enjoyed our chicken fan club when we were leaving for the day! We would definitely stay at Williams place if we get the opportunity to visit again!

Great view and reasonably nice house. The down side is the dirty location, steep parking with no turn around and a huge population of noisy chickens everywhere. We would not consider another stay.

We've rented places all over, and I think this might be one of the best ones, ever. All of our friends staying at other places were super jealous. We almost don't want to review, because it won't be available next time we visit. In all honesty, the home is lovely, and the pictures can't possibly do it justice. The view is amazing. The house is located on a hill with a 180+ view of the island. The house has everything you need and is so comfy. The shower had great pressure, the bed was very comfortable and furnishings were nice and in great condition. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there was plenty of towels, and nice bedding. The owner also supplied beach towels and chairs, which was very convenient if you are beach hopping, otherwise you would have to rent chairs, and not all beaches have them.

The Wind and The Sea is a spectacular home. It was the perfect place for us. The views, the evening breeze and the close proximity to dining and shopping are just a few of the great things we enjoyed. The snorkeling around the island was fantastic (Melones beach is our favorite and the closest to the villa). The home was exactly as advertised, even better really. I look forward to visiting Culebra again and will most certainly try to rent The Wind and The Sea again! 5++++ stars!

The wind and view alone are reasons to stay here. However, the house is also amazing, the showers, beds and outdoor lounging are all very cozy and lovely. Waking and walking downtown for coffee is fun and the short golf cart drive to Melones is always momentous. William is a great host, we will stay again next time we visit.

We loved our stay here - it was the highlight of our trip to PR. I hope to stay here next time I’m in Culebra!! Beds are comfortable and AC at night made for a comfortable sleeping environment. Thanks!!

Fantastic view of the harbor. Great communication with the host. Easy walking distance to restaurants and stores. Short walk from ferry but very steep hill to property so vehicle needed to carry luggage unless quite light.

This house was just perfect for my husband and I. Finding parking in town is a challenge and with this house we were able to walk to Culebra Divers every morning for our two morning dives; grab lunch at Zacos Tacos and walk to the Dinghy Dock for supper. The deck was our favorite room of the house, can not safe enough about how perfect it was! The kitchen was great! Well stocked and had everything we needed. Some others that we talked to said their house listed a “kitchen” but had nothing to cook with. Not so with this house, had all the basics covered! House was very clean, furniture and bed were very comfortable. Exactly as advertised. Checkin was so simple as was checking out! William was so responsive, answered all my questions and gave nice advice when asked, much appreciated for 1st time on island. This is a small island so water pressure and water temperature can fluctuate but we anticipated this and didn’t have any issues! If we visit Culebra again we would definitely stay here again! The island is so charming! Definitely recommend a day trip to Culebrita with captain bill; book all diving and snorkeling adventures through Culebra Divers, Trevor and Heather are the best and will keep it safe but filled with plenty of adventure! Black Flamingo coffee has the best coffee hands down. You definitely need a golf cart if you want to explore the island, go to Ds grocery and go to the many fabulous beaches. You can taxi but they can be unreliable on pickup/drop off times. Even though we dived most mornings we opted to rent a golf cart so we could have the freedom to explore the island, run to the grocery store and move beaches quickly depending upon weather and needs. Don’t expect great service at any rental place, take a video of whatever you rent prior to taking it off the lot and make sure you pickup and drop off within their scheduled hours. We went with UTV rentals, a little bit of a walk with all of our luggage as it’s a block uphill from the airport. They are open on weekends but close at 5 so make sure your pickup and drop off is during that time. We opted for an older model since they are so expensive and we knew we wouldn’t use ours everyday; it was fine for our needs, didn’t breakdown but if you used it more get the nicer model. Checkout was fine no issues with getting deposit money back. Zacos tacos is a great lunch or early supper spot! The Dinghy Dock was our go to supper spot!

This has very beautiful views and was very clean. Other than some minor issues that the owner took care of quickly it was perfect and exactly as described.

Thank you so much for an amazing experience and such welcoming ambiance! The host was super helpful since day one in the booking process. The house is beautiful and made us feel in a tropical paradise! Super close to all places!! Especially the dive spot… thanks for making our stay memorable after being stuck to screens for over a year.

Nice clean villa close to everything. Although our trip was shortened by the virus, we wished we would of stayed. We were asked to leave the beach area and stay confined to the villa half way thru our trip. We opted to head home so we didn't get in trouble sneaking out to the beaches. The place served all our needs and more. The view and breeze sealed the deal everyday. The rooster noise never bothered us, we hear that at home. Never needed the ac, the breeze took care of that. The stores were still stocked with everything needed, as we were told back home was not. Wife loved the art work through out the house. Everyone we meet was nice and helpful. We will defiantly come back to Culebra and stay here again. When we were run off the beach due to the corona virus, I was disappointed that the local government was affecting my trip, but as we flew home and had time to think. The government was not worried as much about us and our vacation money being spent locally, they were more concerned about their people and possibly us affecting them. Money was not their main concern, I now appreciate that more. We will be back. Thanks Bill and see you again

We spent 3 days at Wind & The Sea on our first visit to Culebra. The rental was impeccably clean. Furnishing don't look like it at first glance but are very comfortable. My wife and I are both a bit finicky about beds/mattresses, but the mattress was very comfortable. The house was a bit stuffy on our arrival in the evening (having been closed up all day), but by the next day was consistently comfortable with the constant see breeze. In any event, the AC cooled the bedroom almost immediatlely and gave us a very comfortable first night's sleep. The finishings are not what I would call luxurious, but this is a very comfortable unit with all needed practical amenities. Shower was very hot and water pressure was surprisingly good. Only very minor complaint was that the bedroom window coverings were not very light-blocking (and we tend to sleep in while on vacation). Location is in the heart of what is considered downtown Culebra, walking distance from ferry terminal and what shopping/dining Culebra has to offer (which isn't much). Beaches are pretty much all driving distance, so car or cart is recommended. However, the streets in Culebra are very, very narrow, so I would suggest a cart. Also, the house sits on a very steep road, which might be difficult for anyone with physical disabilities or limitations to walk up and down, and also presents some driving challenges as well. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the view from the balcony is wonderful. The photos do not do it justice.

Comfortable home with an amazing view. Enjoyed relaxing and eating on the deck overlooking both the bay and ocean. Close to local restaurants and groceries if you don't mind walking up the steep hill home.
