The owner was exceptionally friendly and served really good breakfast. It is an old well maintained building, with very little traffic, due to it's location on the canal (therefore it was really quiet). And the owner did everything to make our stay comfortable. Additionally it is located very close to the center of the lovely town Middelburg.

My stay was wonderful, the room is not only well-equipped, but also very beautiful! I had everything I needed, and it was easy to communicate with the host. The location is excellent, right on the channel, 5 mins from the center and 6 mins from the train station (also major bus station). Additional note on the breakfast: so delicious, fresh, and full! I would not hesitate to book it again, and if you see this gem available - go ahead and book it!

Fantastic location, super comfy bed and great shower.

Upon booking we didn't realize check out time was at 10 am, we only realized it at check in. The owner was gracious enough to give us an extra hr the next morning but we felt the tension of being rushed after the hour was up. If you ain't a morning person like us, you may want to book more traditional accommodation that will allow for a more leisurely departure.

Large, pleasant room with a nice bathroom and a nice & helpful host. Decent continental breakfast with fresh pancakes is brought up to your room at a prearranged time and you have a nice big table to eat at.

Only one towel, which was the size of a hand towel and not enough after a shower. Perhaps it was a one-off oversight?

Nice people, lovely child, really great location, and a perfect breakfast! Recommend it!
