We’ve stayed here several times and have always enjoyed our stay. It’s spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the location can’t be beat!

In the heart of Bethany Beach, a perfect location for a getaway. The designated parking space and the elevator to the boardwalk were definitely wonderful benefits. Hoping to come back next year. -- Thanks, Sandy!

Very much enjoyed our week in Bethany Beach. The condo is located right in the middle of the town Square. Access to the beach, restaurants and shops is just a few steps. I must also add that it may have been the cleanest unit we've stayed in going on 40 years. Would definitely stay again !

This place offers the perfect location access to beach & pool, and all the Bethany Beach surroundings. We had a fabulous week and the 1 bedroom condo was perfect for us!!

The rental was great. This was our 5th trip to Bethany, and this unit was our favorite. Location was perfect, the unit was clean, and had everything we needed. Extra hooks or shelves in the bathroom would be helpful, otherwise no suggestions for improvement. Looking forward to returning.

This place is the PERFECT location. Can't say enough about that--it is exactly where we wanted to be. A couple of very small complaints: I went for a vacation with a friend, but we both had work to do, and for the first 3 days the wifi didn't work. The owner finally replaced the router on the 3rd day, but by then we had missed important meetings and that was stressful. Also the refrigerator has a weird little door flap that you have to get just right or it doesn't quite close all the way. We called the owner's dad about this (the owner had left the country on a trip by then), but got no answer, and by the time we figured it out on our own everything in the freezer had thawed and the ice had melted into a single block. However, the bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable, the apartment was super comfortable, the balcony looking over the town center was very entertaining, the pool was lovely, the kitchen had everything you could need, and the beach, boardwalk and yummy restaurants are RIGHT THERE. I would stay there again, but would try to communicate in advance about specific needs, like wifi. All in all, I give it a big thumbs up!

Greeted by the owner, Sandy, upon arrival. Lovely clean condo in the perfect location. Well stocked with clean linens, towels, kitchen "stuff" and chairs for the beach. Parking very, very convenient and balcony great for people watching after a day on the beach. Ideal for couple and small children - not sure I'd want my older kids or other guests trooping through the bedroom to get to the one bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

Couldn’t ask for a better location!

Our biggest problem was that when we arrived at 6pm, 4 hours later than our scheduled check in time, our property was locked and we couldn’t get in. We called the property manager who said the maid hadn’t come to clean it and we would have to wait another hour and a half for her to come clean. It was very disappointing after a long drive. And we had already eaten dinner on the way and all of the local shops were already closed. So there wasn’t much to do but wait. I was hopeful they might have offered some sort of discount for our trouble or at least let us have a later check out on our last day, but they did not. Our stay after that was nice enough. It’s a nice, quiet property in a great location. I wish there were more outlets by the bed to be able to plug in my phone and CPAP machine. But I managed. I also would’ve liked more storage space in the bathroom…. Like a shelf or a medicine cabinet for all our toiletries. And a way to hang out hand towel by the bathroom sink would’ve been nice too. These are all just details I’m including in case the property manager reads this review. They didn’t detract that much, but they would’ve been nice touches.

Great location and well kept condo! We always enjoy our time in Bethany and this stay was no different. We would recommend this place anytime!

My wife and I have wanted to revisit the Blue Surf for years (in fact, we hadn't been back since its days as a hotel). Well, we finally booked the trip for my Thanksgiving break and Sandy's apartment was phenomenal in so many ways! A tremendous location, within steps of the ocean, the boardwalk, and all the quaint Bethany shops and restaurants, and the place was well-stocked with amenities, including a fireplace. But, with that said, I would like to suggest to Sandy that she amend her description of "sleeps 4." It's true, it does sleep four, but in our experience only two of those comfortably. Perhaps if our two daughters where very young they might have found the sleeper sofa in the living room comfortable but, in this case, they definitely did not. Our younger daughter even ended up sleeping on the floor for two nights. In spite of that, both girls had a great time, and it turned out to be a wonderful holiday stay for us all. (p.s. to Sandy: extra blankets, plus pillow slips for the extra pillows would be nice for our next stay please!)

Unit is super clean and neat. The location is close to everything and I hardly used my car. The pool was a nice bonus and never busy.
