Mona`s Hostel

I had a lovely stay at Monas Hostel. The two sisters were incredibly kind, sweet and welcoming. They were always attentive and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. I stayed for almost two weeks and truly felt at home. Thank you both for your kindness and for making my stay so special. ❤️

The hosts were absolutely pleasure to deal with, they were so generous and caring. People like them who genuinely care for tourists should be promoted!

Mona and her son (who answered my phone call) have been absolutely amazing. I think that as travelers, we should support such people who treat tourists with care. The apartment is well-maintained, clean, and has a balcony with an amazing view. The AC worked well and there are curtains for the beds. Guests can use the kitchen. The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, bus, shops, etc., but still quiet and peaceful. It's possible to leave the luggage there before/after check in/out without extra charge. For me, they were so incredibly lovely to allow me to leave my luggage there for a couple of hours free of charge, even before I had a confirmed booking and wasn't sure if I'd stay the night there. I've met lovely people there who I've made friends with, and it's definitely a great VFM option.

The hostel is on the 5th floor with no elevator. There is only 1 toilet/shower for the whole apartment. The shower doesn't have a door, so it's needed to go over the floor with a mop to wipe the water after using it. The room was a bit crowded when full, with insufficient space to organize and place my stuff.

The check-in instructions were not clear enough.
