Fly Decó Hotel

This is a wonderful hotel! I booked an ocean view room and that is exactly what I got! Gorgeous beach view from my front window. The beach club (there is also a free beach close by) is directly across the street and you can rent a chair, umbrella, and have drinks and snacks there (definitely worth the money). This is a modern low rise hotel with all the amenities of a newer hotel. My bed and bathroom were large and everything was well appointed and comfortable. One of the windows opened, allowing the sea air into the room. The breakfast was excellent, which a wide arrange of Italian, American, English, and even Chinese breakfast dishes. The staff were wonderful: warm, friendly, and helpful. This hotel is five minutes walk from the pedestrian walking area with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars. Make sure to watch the sunset from the ocean overlook close to the pedestrian walking area. I will definitely stay here again.

If you are noise sensitive, book a room off the main Street. My room had a wonderful view but there was lots of traffic noise at night because it is a main way up and down Ostia Lido and this is a lively beach town. However, I would pick the view over any noise the next time I come here.

The hotel was amazing, very clean, modern, and spacious. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast- good choice and delicious. We were late for breakfast one morning. But the breakfast lady kindly served us a coffee and a pastry with no extra charge.

The beach itself was beautiful, but the setup for the guests wasn't very good. The beach staff who were getting the loungers ready were rude, they have squeezed all the people very close together even thought there were lots of space to spread us out. Also, be aware that you are going to pay around 20 euros for the day to have a lounger and umbrella. Unfortunately, you will not get a front row, because it is reserved for locals. As a guest, you can enjoy the fifth row if you are coming at noon. ( from there you cant really see anything apart from umbrellas and other people. ) disappointed with the setup. The town is dirty, only the main walking street was clean, clean around the restaurants. But lots of rubbish everywhere else.

An iron in the room would be appreciated.

Nel bagno della stanza c’erano alcune cose da sistemare. Ad ogni modo ho segnalato gli ammanchi ed è stato chiamato subito un manutentore.
