Lovely home close to everything on the Golden Circle. Plenty of room for my family of 4 to spread out and my teens to have their own rooms. Quiet, private setting where you could sit outdoors and hear the birds singing.

We had a very nice stay. The area is quiet. The kids loved the freedom to go outside and run and swing and jump on the trampoline. Every time I left a message for the host, she got back to me quickly. The only drawback was that the shower drain gets plugged up easily and I had to clean it out once (disgusting!) so that we could keep taking showers without standing in a couple inches of water. It drains slowly. Other than that, the house fit our needs amazingly.

We loved our stay at this home! We were two adults, one fifteen-year-old, and one twelve-year-old and had plenty of space. The kids loved the loft beds with the cozy reading lamps. There is a nice big living room area with a comfortable sectional couch. The kitchen is well-supplied with everything you could need. The kids absolutely loved the in-ground trampoline in the backyard. The views from the backyard are beautiful, and you can even see and hear a babbling brook in the distance. There is a large excellent laundry room accessed from the back porch. The location is exceptionally close to Bruarfoss, Gulfoss, Geysir, the tomato restaurant, and more. Thingvellir National Park is an easy drive. About 60 miles from Reykjavik. We would stay here again if we ever have the opportunity to return to Iceland!

The cabin is a lovely and comfortable escape from busy life. We really had no idea what to expect in Iceland, Anna was a wonderful host. She gave us great suggestions of where to go, restaurants and groceries. I loved the hot tub. Iceland was so beautiful that we were on an adventure every day. I cant wait to go back.
