The host is super friendly and helpful with the instructions/check-in and everything, and the Villa is lovely for families with Children. Being in Meta has also the advantages, much more relaxing than Sorrento but at the same time very easy to reach Sorrento, Positano or Almalfi. The Villa has also parking inside, which is a great thing in Italy :)

- Not everything was clean in the kitchen - Downside of Meta (compared to Sorrento) is that restaurants nearby were closed very early (low season).

The owner speaks very good English and we were able to communicate by Whatsapp without any issues. She was nice enough to give us additional room when we requested separate beds.

The street in front the house is very narrow and has cars coming on both ways.

The uniquely set property is quite central but on a quiet no through road. Really peacefull place surrounded by plants and trees with sizeable patios. The bus between the beach in Meta and Sorrento was a two minute walk away as. Shops just a little further. So very conveniently located.

Parking was quite tricky although on the drive but our advice would be not to hire a car if you are staying here, It's so easy to use the bus locally and to Sorrento or train to get further to Pompei and Naples etc. We stayed for 7 nights. A towel change would have been nice during the stay.

We love the little town of Meta, everyone was warm and welcoming. Mariafortuna was extremely responsive and warm and made our stay pleasant. There were many like minded travellers we got to meet too. The room was spacious and clean. Nothing more to ask for and thank you for the lovely experience!

Lovely villa in a great location. Close to the beach and town center. 10 minutes to the train station to visit Sorrento,Pompei and many other beautiful places. Villa had everything we could need, facilities were excellent and very clean. Comfortable and spacious, outdoor areas in particular were great. We spent a wonderful 10 days at this accommodation in Meta. The villa is perfectly located for the beach and the main attractions in the area. The neighborhood is quiet and suitable for rest and relaxation. Our host, Mariafortuna, was very kind and helped us with everything.

It was such a lovely place to stay, close to the beach and the train station so very accessible! It was such great value for money and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Beautiful room and Villa. Free and private parking. Short walk to the beach and supermarket. Close to Sorrento by car. Kitchen available to use and the host provided free eggs from her chickens which was a lovely touch. They were delicious! Hosts were absolutely lovely and checked in with us every day and helped to arrange our boat trip, the puppy’s were a bonus!! Amazing value for money.

Slightly noisy when other guests use the kitchen early in the morning - but this is not the hosts fault - bring earplugs.

Very good location, it was easy to travel by train to Sorrento, Naples and Pompei. The room was clean and nice. The bed was confortable. And the garden was amazing!

We chose this location in Meta as a base for 6 nights to see the region. The location was a 15 minute walk to train station and regional bus stop for day trips. (Naples, Pompei, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento). Public beach is 10 minutes away. We booked a deluxe room, and we were given a very small room initially but the host was able to accommodate our booking by moving us to a larger room for our longer stay. Facility is a large very quiet, family home with several guest rooms with private bathrooms and tiny shared kitchen and eating area. Free espresso machine and coffee. Kitchen has very small fridge (shared) 2 burner stove, pots pans and utensils, dishes. Very limited counter space to prepare food. There are several comfortable outdoor seating arrangements. Beware, the property is not accessible and has a staircase to your room from the road to carry your bags down. Washing machine and drying racks available. Bedrooms were bright and very clean, good beds and linens, closet or clothes rack in rooms. Secure parking for small car. Host Maria is very accommodating in every way.

Fridge is too small to share with 3 other guest rooms and kitchen space is very limited if you plan to prepare any type of meal.

Nicely renovated Italian Villa. Kind of romantic. Very quiet location in a dead end street. The hosts were very responsive and eager to help or solve any problem.

There was no place to put shampoo or soap in the shower. Would be helpful to have an extra handlebar to hang the towels.

Beautiful and quiet house, room as described. Very friendly communication. The small kitchen and the coffee machine are a nice bonus. If you travel with public transport, the location is great: Just in the middle between the train station and the beach. Good cafe/bakery nearby.

The view from the balcony into the courtyard; but it is nice to sit on the terraces.

The property had its own outside garden with a patio which I sat in many mornings and have breakfast in the sun! The location was super, not in a busy place like Sorrento but fantastic links to get to Pompeii, Positano and Capri (all of which I did). Maria was a fantastic host on hand for anything I needed and if not only a message away. she gave me directions suggestions for restaurants and helped me figure out the best routes to get around. As a solo traveller this was exactly what I wanted and needed. My mum would have been truly appreciative of Maria’s kind nature and looking after me while I was in Italy. Thank you!

Mariafortuna and her sister are amazing hosts, very nice and helpfull. The room is comfortable and the common area is well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring the cost and it's has a parking space which is needed.

We loved our stay at Villa La Quercia! The location is convenient yet calm, our host was very welcoming, helpful and communicating, and the room was comfortable and full of light. The exterior is great as well!

Nothing negative to say

The rooms are lovely and comfortable. Not too far from the train station to Sorrento or Naples. But more important is the great hospitality of Matiafortuna, who did above and beyond to make us feel at home away from home, and helped us in many little things with our vocation during our stay.

Fantastic host and lovely place. Well-located just outside Sorrento itself. It's a 10 minute walk from the Meta train station and it's only 5 minutes to Sorrento on that. Short walk to the beach too. This is a clean, tidy, and comfortable guesthouse. Good facilities if you want to cook yourself (but maybe no need with some outstanding local restaurants a short walk away). Mariafortuna was an extremely pleasant and helpful host. She made the check-in and check-out processes as straightforward as possible and gave great advice on getting around the local area. I would definitely stay here again if visiting Sorrento in the future.

Mariafortuna is excellent owner, very helpfull.The villa is absolut good for relaxing, best place to visit the Sorrento, Pompei, Napel, Capri, Amalfi coast.

Small rooms!

The Apartment offers everything you need! The kitchenette is super clean and well equiped. The train station is only a 10min walk away - so we were glad to be provided with a free parking lot next to the housing and took the train to Sorrento. The Beach as well as a supermarket are also just a 5min walk away. We would highly recommend Villa la Quercia and had a wonderful time there!
