Wellfleet Contemporary with Tree Top Views
Casa contemporanea, situata su una collina in un terreno alberato di 1/2 acro in una strada senza uscita. La casa è una casa 'capovolta' con 2 ampie camere da letto e un bagno al primo piano (non nel seminterrato, il seminterrato è un altro livello in basso) e la camera da letto principale, bagno e soggiorno / cucina / sala da pranzo al secondo piano. Il soggiorno / sala da pranzo / cucina ha finestre e porte scorrevoli in vetro che percorrono l'intera lunghezza dello spazio (circa 38 piedi) che conducono a un ponte che ha una vista sugli alberi. La zona giorno è un grande spazio aperto con un soffitto impennata e un lucernario. La casa è molto luminosa e ariosa con grandi finestre in tutte le stanze. Poiché lo spazio abitativo è alto, è molto privato e la parete di vetro frontale lo rende ideale per tramonti e osservazione delle stelle. La camera da letto principale ha un letto matrimoniale. Ci sono altre due ampie camere da letto - una con 2 letti a castello (4 letti singoli), l'altra con un letto matrimoniale.

We enjoyed the feeling of being up in the treetops; the decks are spacious & great for listening to the myriad voices of birds. The location of the tv was inconvenient so we didn’t watch it at all, so we spent more time outside and with each other. The WiFi is not strong; it would drop out occasionally. It is aptly named an upside down house.

We had a great family vacation here. The house was plenty big enough for 6 and then a few overnight guests. House is comfortable. I didn’t read the lease and there were no sheets or towels so that was a pain but my fault.

This was our first summer vacation on the Cape. So glad we chose this house! We were able to bike to a bay side beach,which was one of our favorites. We created some delicious meals and watched the meteor shower from the great deck! Karen was always available to answer any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again!

The description of this house as in the tree tops is accurate, and there are indeed lovely breezes that pervade. We had a rain storm one day, and the over hanging roof line prevented any rain from coming into the house, which was great. The location was further from town than we expected- it's not really an easy walk. House is spacious with room enough for 6 adults to co-exist comfortably. Kitchen is nicely equipped although a new non-stick fry pan would be a good addition. Plenty of plastic ware and cups.
The furniture is fairly old, worn and yet pretty comfortable. Beds are acceptable for comfort but the mattress pads and pillow are in sad shape. Actually the pillows were pretty gross, and we ended up having our guests bring their own. Hard to understand why owners can't provide clean bedding. Old quilts and throw pillows also pretty worn out and dirty.
Outdoor shower was a plus, and the decks are spacious and clean.
Overall the house suited us well, but I would not rent again unless there were some updates as mentioned above.
