The property was clean, comfortable with excellent view, but the bedroom sliding glass door jammed and small hole in screen. Dishwasher mounting unfinished...which was strange. Adequately equipped otherwise, location was great, Brooks and Shorey rep, Maryann, was wonderful and very helpful and informative. Enjoyed stay overall. Would have given a 3 1/2 on property's general condition, if available.

Brooks & Shorey was so easy to work with and the communication was top notch. This was our second stay at Pelican Isle and we will continue to return. The facilities are clean and the staff are super helpful & friendly. Our condo #608 was perfect! It was clean and had everything we needed for the week. We would definitely rent it again!!

The living room furniture needs a major cleaning or needs new furniture completely. The couch and chair were both filthy. We draped a sheet over the couch so that we would have a place to sit. The main door to the unit needs cleaning inside. Otherwise we were pleased with our stay.

Our condo was very nice, clean, and easily accessible. Everyone in the building was very friendly. The only complaint from our group is that the door doesn't have a safety chain to lock up high from the kids.

We had a great time, the unit was clean. We were disappointed there were not many drinking glasses. The weather was beautiful and the chairs and umbrellas were up before the posted time. That allowed us extra time on the beach. The property is well maintained and maintenance is on site in case they were needed.

We had a wonderful time here. The condo was very clean. The only thing is that there were no washcloths in the master bathroom but that is very minor. We made do with what we had. Did not want to leave. We would definitely stay there again.

we had a great stay. plenty of room for all, very clean and you wake up looking at gorgeous waves! you are just steps from the beach. also, the pool was heated and very clean. not too deep, great for smaller kids. and hot tub for us big kids. the host was very informative and communicated well. I would stay again and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

The condo was spotless, comfortable and we loved the tile floors. Overall, the condo itself needed a little TLC. We asked Brooks and Shorey (on a Sunday) if a few things could be repaired and within a hour all items were being repaired! Also the condo had only had one drinking glass (for ice tea etc.) and a very nice lady from Brooks and Shorey arrived with a box of 9 glasses. From their booking agents, who are incredible and listen to their customers, to customer care and service I believe Brooks and Shorey is the best management team on the Island!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our rental got moved to another facility and the nights spent were splint between two condos. This meant having to pack up and move from on room to another rather than enjoying the day on the beach.
However, my agent did the best she could to make it a smooth transition. It was ideal for sure, but we made the best of it.

Close walk to the beach
The men on staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The walk from the condo to the ocean was short.
There were not any plastic cups in the condo so you may want to bring some plastic cups to take to the beach and some extra pillows.

As always the beach services is fabulous! As far as the room goes that's a different story. Upon arrival, the air condition would not work, maintenance had to be called. One bedroom TV did not work, maintenance was called. Both the main BR and guest BR beds could feel the springs in them and they squeaked every time someone moved. In the kitchen there were only 2 bowls. No more than 2 people at a time could eat cereal. For the amount of money that is paid for these condos they should be immaculate! We were extremely disappointed! If this happens again we will find another company and a different area to stay when we come.

This was the 4th or 5th year we have stayed at the Pelican Isle. We usually have a large group that rents anywhere from 5 to 7 condos. This year, many of the families had issues which we attributed to the condos not being updated or properly maintained. The management team responded to the issues when they could. Several units had problems with the refrigerator ice makers (which the management team responded to but were never fixed), broken furniture, burnt out or broken light bulbs, and general cleanliness. Our condo was woefully short on amenities and it was obvious no one had taken a look at the kitchen inventory for a long while. The oven had one rack, there was no baking sheet (the management team brought us one), and for a condo that sleeps 8, there were only 3 plastic wine glasses, just to name a few of the issues. The condo is dated, tired, and badly in need of updating/renovation. We loved the location, but we all agreed that we would be staying at a new property next year.

We had a wonderful stay. Was very pleased that we were able to get unit for 10 days. And super thankful that the elevators were in working order since we were on the 6th floor. My only dissatisfaction was the size of the washing machine. It was so small I was only able to wash up to 3 towels at time.

Absolutely love the location of this property and it was set up very nice. It made us feel at home. My only complaint would be that there was no can opener and we didn't have very many pots and pans. Other than that this place was beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Brooks and Shorey was great working with us. We had an issue with the AC freezing up and it was resolved within an hour. I was concerned that when we called to push our dates back due to the hurricane, the receptionist wasn’t very helpful at first. Once she got approval from her manager to push our dates out, she was less than kind towards me. We love brooks and Shorey and have been using them since 2012 to book our vacations. We hope this was an isolated situation caused from the stress of hurricane michael and an increase in calls. We look forward to our next vacation with brooks and Shorey
