PRICELESS RESIDENCE in the ANCIENT VILLAGE of CASTRO MARINA (LE)
La casa indipendente, posizionata nel centro antico di Castro a ridosso delle antiche mura del castello aragonese, è ideale per un soggiorno confortevole e rilassante nel Salento. E' stata completamente ristrutturata nel 2018, ed è perfettamente arredata e può ospitare 4 adulti e un bambino piccolo che dorme nella stanza dei genitori. Sono presenti due spaziosissime camere da letto matrimoniali, di cui una con bagno privato e antibagno, un secondo bagno che presenta un ampio antibagno con lavatrice ed una grande zona soggiorno-pranzo e cucina comoda e luminosa. Inoltre vi è un giardino con affaccio diretto sulle mura del castello attrezzato con zona pranzo e una seconda zona cottura con piastra a induzione, lavello e piano di lavoro. E' posizionata a metà di una delle più belle e panoramiche strade costiere d’Italia, che collega Otranto a S. Maria di Leuca, passando da Porto Badisco, S. Cesarea terme, e Porto Tricase. Il mare è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in 8-10 minuti, mediante una comoda scalinata con scorci mozzafiato sul mare del capo di Leuca

We had such a MAGICAL stay in Castro! The house was wonderful and spacious and had plenty of room for our kids to spread out! We cooked most nights and the little town store was perfect. The proximity to other beaches and towns was amazing as well. We loved our stay!!

The house is in a great location near to restaurants, harbour, supermarket and the lovely square overlooking the sea. Agnes is lovely and left us fresh fruit from her garden, wine and water.The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The house was well equipped with everything you could need.The house may be better suited to 4 people as the bed for the 5th person was a fold out bed that our son did not find comfortable, or invest in a good quality sofa bed.The advertised terrace and hot tub was not available for our stay so we are unable to comment on that but the little garden was very lovely to sit in.

We thought our ground floor apartment was perfect for our week stay in Castro Marina. The air conditioning provided a wonderful relief from the hot weather outside! We had the most perfect location in the town being a stone's throw from the piazza. Many an evening there were events on at the piazza - a full orchestra with opera! We watched from the Piazza for a while and then went back to the house and sat in the back garden with the beautiful castle wall right at it's boundary, listening to the operatic singing- it was magical!
Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful and Gabrielle spoke perfect English which made life really easy.
Accessing the town and rock/beach/marina was easy down steps that led us all the way from right near our house.
It was a perfect location to explore the rest of that part of Puglia. We'd definitely recommend it!

Our check in with the owner was easy and very pleasant.... the house was immaculate and very well appointed with a lovey courtyard garden abutting the historic castle walls. Some lovely touches, like wine and water as well. The position is fabulous - right next to the main square, surrounded by lots of eating and drinking options but also just a 10 minute walk to Castro Marina - or 15 if you are in the mood for the amazing night club Bluebay!! Being so central (and also in the midst of the amazing Castro WineFest) it is noisy in the morning - but that is life in a small clean town with great rubbish and recycling programmes! Highly recommend!! 😁
