Pijama Hostel

Located in the heart of the old town, this hostel was close to everything! The owner was constantly cleaning and the place was spotless! He was very understanding when it came to check out and he took good care of my baggage. Overall this was a great property.

My particular bed had bed bugs, but the others didn't. The owner took this seriously and tried to remedy the problem. Most others would do absolutely nothing, so I'm glad this owner is doing all he can to keep his place nice for his guests!

This hostel is super budget-friendly and perfectly located right in the heart of Kapana (the Turkish quarter), making it extremely central. It’s kept very clean—the rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms are swept and tidied daily. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are nice and quiet, at least the one I stayed in, with the super plus of a.c. Outstanding value for money right in the center of Plovdiv.

Coming from a hostel in Sofia, this stay felt a bit sterile. Self-check-in via codes meant I never met the staff, and the other guests were mostly quiet, remote-worker types keeping to themselves, giving it more of a shared-flat feel than a social hostel. Despite the great price, cleanliness, and comfort, the lack of atmosphere was for me a letdown but absolutely great if you just want a cheap and clean place to sleep in right in the city center. Security was also a little issue since the lock on my bedroom door was broken. And finally, two bathrooms with 2 showers for probably up to 18 guests across three rooms is definitely pushing it

In the heart of city center, beds are ok, oven is great in the kitchen.

Kitchen is barely usuable due to cooking pods mostly bad, there is only one stove functional. Bathroom could be improved
