Sea Gem Beach Cottage, una bella e spaziosa casa vacanza a tre camere da letto a pochi passi dalla bellissima spiaggia incontaminata. Ideale per famiglie, anche per una fuga di coppie! Questa casa è un rifugio perfetto dal trambusto della città. La mia casa è il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e distendersi!

Sea Gem è molto spaziosa. Comprende un soggiorno / sala da pranzo completamente arredato e una cucina attrezzata, 3 camere da letto (2 camere matrimoniali e una camera doppia). Condizionatori e ventilatori sono in ogni stanza. Due biciclette per adulti sono fornite ai nostri ospiti per essere in grado di esplorare. Un cellulare locale è disponibile anche per l'uso. La brezza marina è da morire!
Goditi la brezza marina più rilassante sul nostro portico del salotto e non vorrai andartene quando è il momento di abbandonarti alle nostre incontaminate spiagge tropicali a pochi passi!

Una volta raggiunto l'aeroporto internazionale di Providenciales, situato sull'isola di Providenciales, prendi il traghetto della Caribbean Cruisin per raggiungere North Caicos da Provo. La corsa in traghetto da Provo è di 30 minuti e ti porta al Sandy Point Dock a North Caicos. La casa è a circa 15 minuti dal molo di Sandy Point.

Sadly I feel I have to write this to inform other renters. Being a condo owner and renter in Turks and Caicos, I believe you need to be honest about the expectations of your property and be a good communicator with your guests, unfortunately, this didn’t happen with us.
The property is a home under construction, the yard and surroundings are all dug up and in various states of work. Car parts, garbage and debris were littered about.
Inside the home is partially finished, still somewhat under construction especially the second washroom, (basically unusable). The home was generally clean except construction gravel and dirt in the corners and in the carpets. This is also disappointing because we paid a decent cleaning fee.
The listing stated there was AC in the bedrooms. We contacted the owner because there wasn’t an air conditioner in the third bedroom. They told me it would be installed that day, it wasn’t, nor the next day as promised. It was never installed. We ended up dragging the mattress into the master bedroom for my son to sleep in the AC.
So very disappointing of the owner for their dishonesty in the listing and lying to me about putting an AC in and then not responding to any of my calls or messages.
We know we didn’t rent a palace, but we would have appreciated general honestly and communication.

North Caicos, including Sea Gem Cottage, is remote. You need a car as only the beach, 1 restaurant and 1 grocery store (equivalent of US convenient store) are quite walkable (3 min). There are no taxis waiting at the ferry port; you must plan ahead (Kedra was quite helpful in getting us to the cottage). The beach is public access although you wouldn't know it as there are very few people on it. The beach was definitely the best part!
If you have a car, there is a water filling station behind My Dee's restaurant. It is significantly cheaper than buying gallons of water each day at the store.
George was very helpful. He was able to give us the name of a taxi service and helped us find a kayak rental. He even helped us take our luggage back to the ferry as we couldn't fit all of us and the luggage in the car in a single trip.
The house does have WiFi and a television. Unfortunately, there is no more cable service on the island (not a problem for us). The sim card for the phone wasn't working, but if you have a cell phone most businesses use Whats App so it wasn't an issue for us. George was never able to locate the bicycles for us, which was disappointing. We did appreciate the island map that was left on the kitchen counter.

Ocean getaway
It was a great experience. The property was wonderful. There was not a phone left, but after an email it was brought over promptly. There were not bikes as stated. Also was not aware the water was not drinkable. We found out that information from a neighbor. We did drink it for 2 days, but thankfully did not get sick. Anytime we had questions or needed anything George came by and helped us out. I would recommend staying in this home.

Trevlig boende i en fin område och en underbar ägare
Väldigt trevlig boende med en fin fin kök, en fin vardagsrum, en fin mat ställe och 3 mycket trevliga rum. Det var finare i verkligheten än i bilderna.
Ligger precis nära en mycket trevlig strand (promenad avstånd).
Ägaren är super trevlig och mycket hjälpsam. Otroligt bra att ha med. Riktigt fin människa.
Hon undrade hur vi har det, lämnade vatten åt oss i kylskåpet och låt oss komma in så snart vi kom till ön.
Det enda minus varför det blev 4 och inte 5 stjärnor är att det var lite väl varmt i vardagsrummets området.
Annars är det en väldigt trevlig bostad.

A week in TCI
Very spacious and clean. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
We were surprised that the AC was only in the bedrooms and not the entire house. If you're visiting in winter or planning to spend most of the day out at the beach, then this may not be an issue for you. We were on the island for work and spent most of the day outside so it was hard for us to cool down. We did find that the mosquitos were able to sneak through the screened doors so we had to keep them shut during the night.
The fridge didn't keep our food cold but Gladisha was quick to replace it. The wifi works great, even with our group of 5 using it at the same time. Overall, the house worked for our needs!

A great accomodation. We absolutely loved it! The beaches and bars were incredible. Warm and friendly locals. We will be returning!
