The host met us at the front door, got us settled and provided area info and maps. The apartment was roomy enough and clean. Supplies and equipment were more than adequate. For us older folks, the chairs and couch were a bit uncomfortable - probably fine for younger travelers. Located midway on a short, steep and narrow road, travel up to Plaza Batalha, Ildefonso church, markets, and Santa Caterina street was easy and quick. Down hill was the old cathedral, the funicular and the waterfront. The town is walkable for most sites. The apartment was well located and the host was most helpful. Good place for a Porto stay.

Carlos is an outstanding host, very helpful and responsive. His place is clean, comfortable and the location can’t be beat, central to everything and metro is easily accessible. Great value!

Joao is a wonderful host. He was very helpful with recommendations for what to see and where to eat. He took the time to explain sites and locations. The apartment is very well located to be able to walk to all of the significant sites and traditional restaurants. I would recommend. Just be sure to take not that parking is not on site. There is a parking garage close by.
