Grande Vista è la destinazione perfetta dalla vita quotidiana della città. La casa si trova a un miglio di distanza dalla città, rendendo la casa a piedi in città. Una delle caratteristiche più importanti della casa è il grande ponte con splendide viste panoramiche sul bellissimo paesaggio di montagna. Il mazzo è il luogo ideale per rilassarsi durante tutte le stagioni per godersi la meravigliosa natura di Idyllwild. Il soggiorno ha un divano molto grande e comodo, perfetto per un film o una serata di gioco con il gruppo. Le finestre del soggiorno portano la natura esterna all'interno della casa, consentendo la splendida vista della casa sia all'interno che all'esterno della casa. La casa dispone di due camere da letto, entrambe con letti queen size. La camera da letto principale ha finestre ampie, che ti permettono di svegliarti con una vista incredibile. La casa ha 1. 5 bagni, e entrambi i bagni si collegano alla doccia. La casa è anche per gli animali domestici, quindi sentitevi liberi di portare con voi il vostro cucciolo di pelo e godervi un weekend di relax in montagna!

We had 5 wonderful days to spend with our 2 dogs and older kids. They delivered wood for us and the home provided all necessary needs to stay in the best comfort. The balcony view was amazing! Watched the hawks screech and soar right over our heads. The home doorways was blessed and we felt warm and protected. The tub is in the floor which was weird but cool! The loft bedroom again wake up to a beautiful sunrise over looking the mountain trees and some snow. This is our 2nd time with Spirit. Love love love it!!

great stay
Great location and views are amazing. The house is clean and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and deck. Overall a great vacation home! The kitchen could use new appliances. The "BBQ" is an electric George Forman grill and it was dirty so I didn't use it.. The picnic table on the deck should be replaced or restored, everyone got splinters and with it being bolted into the deck by a single center post it's not very stable. Just some minor issues, other than that I would definitely stay here again.

This was a very quirky little house that had some unexpected surprises. The master bedrooms views were absolutely breath taking. We ended up sleeping with the blinds open because the stars at night were amazing from the comfort of the bed.
My quirky comment comes from the layout and a few little odd things like the door hitting the toilet when you open it or the door that goes through both bathrooms. I’d say the only complaint was the shower head didn’t work very well which made for very uncomfortable showers and no WiFi definitely made things challenging but the patio was amazing and the location was absolutely perfect!

My family and I had a wonderful weekend getaway. This home has great views and is beautifully decorated. Although there was not internet there were lots of movies to select from in the evening. The views from the upstairs bedroom were awesome, we were able to see a few shooting stars from bed!

Great Couples Getaway
Wife and I needed a slower pace of life for a weekend surrounded by gorgeous views and that is exactly what we got. Would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to enjoy nature and relax.

From the moment you pull up to the home you are welcomed to an amazing view over the side terrace. The home itself was well set up for guests to relax and unwind with everything you need. Large windows in every room for a stunning view and the patio was a perfect spot to enjoy the mountains and rolling clouds. I would say almost everything was perfect except there are some broken pavers so be careful if you have little ones so I would highly suggest fixing that ASAP. The hot water runs out fast and only provides about 5-10 minutes of hot water so you will have to plan your day around that if you have been hiking or would like to rinse off in general. It did waste a good part of our day as we had to wait for the water heater to warm up again and again. Aside from that everything was great.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay. If there could be a few upgrades...
1) The AC couldn't keep it comfortable, even with the window shades down. So during the day, about 82 degrees. Not terrible, but not great either. We had both fans blasting in the living room to help out. So sleeping upstairs is a little uncomfortable until the temps cool down....(we slept on the couch)....plus, we have a smaller dog and the height of the bed is too risky. Need blinds on the bathroom windows or make them tinted as the sun blasts through in the afternoon.
2) Need some shade on the deck! I know umbrellas will probably get ruined if the renters don't shut them when it's windy, etc. And a patio cover would detract from the views or star gazing....so, kind of stuck with ideas on that one.
3) The stairs are a little steep...so if you have elders or people with bad knees/joints....just gotta be careful.
4) Outdoor picnic table is like a seesaw. Needs to be leveled out....and also sanded down and a fresh coat of paint.
5) BBQ grill is interesting (electric George Foreman griddle)...I get the fire dangers, but I'm sure others would agree that they need at least a cheap propane grill, etc.

This property was on point for location. Close to town and breathtaking views. The bedrooms had clean airy spaces with big windows that put you directly in the nature just outside your window. All the boulders and Manzanita trees are beautiful additions to the landscape. Up behind the house are some great boulders and there are two places on the property to sit and meditate. I would definitely come back to this property again. The cold water valve in the shower is a little loose.

Arrived at this location from Big Bear during a big snowstorm so this review is based on a personal experience during a winter storm. We spent a few days in Big Bear prior to Idyllwild and had rented a SUV, front wheel drive in San Diego. The property sent an email the day before our arrival stating we needed chains and a 4x4, we had the chains but not a 4x4, it was too late to get another vehicle. We were unable to make it up the roads even with the chains due to the ice. We almost had to head back home and lose our money since they told us they wouldn’t refund us for this, but after a few calls with the property manager, she was able to help us find a way to get to the property (thank you!). The rental is up a very steep and long hill, we had to drag our luggage on knee-deep snow (that was quite the workout). The next day we walked down to the town (not a bad walk) to get our car. We were able to get our car up the streets but not into the driveway (the property won’t plow the driveway) and had to park on the street (no street parking in this area so we had to pray to not get towed, which we didn’t). We truly appreciate the property manager's concern and help throughout the whole ordeal; she kept in touch and was concerned for us.
What to know: After booking on Vrbo you’ll have to sign three long documents basically stating that this is non-refundable NO exceptions. There’s no Wifi. The heater takes a day to heat the place (the first night I was cold) and after that, the top bedroom gets super-hot compared to the rest of the house. The shower’s cold-water handle is semi-broken and doesn’t stay in place (took a cold shower which I hate). Like many stated, the outdoor bench wiggles. We found cigarette butts on the living room floor. The view is amazing and it’s the reason to book this place and although the location made it difficult to get to the place it also makes it feel secluded and very quiet.

The property had a beautiful view. The house was funky and had a lot of character. But, the kitchen and bathrooms were VERY dated and not very comfortable to use. The house was as described other than that - lots of stairs inside to be careful on. Cool space overall though. The main reason for the 3 star review was the property management company that rents the place. The property had a beautiful view. The house was funky and had a lot of character. But, the kitchen and bathrooms were VERY dated and not very comfortable to use. The house was as described other than that - lots of stairs inside to be careful on. Cool space overall though.

Considerations are stairs that may not be good for toddlers or older patrons. Also, strange step down into bathtub/shower which is weird. Everything else is as advertised.

Beautiful view and cozy little gem in the mountains. My family enjoyed the stay and the views. House needs some updating, but overall I recommend it. Would have been 5 stars if they updated the kitchen area amd a few other things. Property management was excellent. Thank you so much.

For the most part, we loved this property, but there were some issues that would probably make more high maintenance people very upset. The view was incredible and made the other minor issues worth it! The location was great, we enjoyed the use of the deck, and we loved using the wood burning stove. However, the property had several issues that could have easily been addressed with some simple maintenance: the front door handle was broken and taped on from the inside. The pulley was broken for one of the blinds in the living room so we weren’t able to open the blinds. The picnic bench out back was extremely wabbly and tossed our food and drinks anytime someone got up from the table. Many of the dishes were dirty. The light in the downstairs bedroom flickered and was very dim (a lamp would fix this problem). There was some sort of sewage issue outside by the trash cans - there was water leaking and a bad smell on the side of the house so we couldn’t open the window in the master bedroom. There were linens left in the dryer. The extra towels and blankets were thrown into the closet upstairs as if no one folded them. Lastly, there was no wifi available, which was a disappointment for wanting to stream movies at night. If some of these issues are addressed, I would definitely stay here again. Most of them are simple fixes that show your company values your guest experience and maintaining a quality property.
