The old spooky vibes of the place. Also enjoyed being able to explore the mansion and carriage house. Cats were a fun plus as well.
The main spaces of the carriage house were hot. I understand it's an old house but the ac wasn't even turned on in those spaces. I was able to get my room cool after turning on the window unit, but because of the very warm temperature that day I think staff should have had the main area ac running. The bed was not comfortable. Everything could use a deeper clean like dusting of light fixtures.

This property has so much character! Very conveniently located, very clean, helpful staff. I wish I could have stayed more than one night!

Historical site with very comfortable facilities!

The in-room shower and the bed were great. The garden was well maintained. We appreciated the historic nature of the property and the owners efforts to maintain and develop it. Resident cats and one big dog a plus for us.
Topography of the area is difficult for us who rely on walking and public transit. Breakfast would be about a half mile walk, so this really isn't a bed & breakfast per se. Tho we knew about the meal when we booked, having to go to a grocery store three quarters of a mile away to collect breakfast items made the reality a dissatisfier. Room did not have much natural light. Seating in the room was uncomfortable.
