Terminus Hotel Pyrmont

Excellent location for Pyrmont and very close to the tram. Comfortable mattress. Free tea/instant coffee/buscuits.

Hot water for cups of tea difficult to get from the tap thingy - it works in a baffling manner.

The location was good

Double bed and the pillows. No tea or coffee facilities. No TV The shower 🚿 head was not good. The door stop on the floor was dangerous.

Terminus is close to everything in Sydney. Especially the Rocks and Sydney Harbour.

Shared bathrooms

Quirky old pub in a fun historic neighbourhood. There are some great little cafes nearby, interesting architecture, and it's a reasonable but achievable walk to the cbd plus plenty of public transport.

The climate control seemed to be stuck in HEAT mode, and we were unable to cool the room. The staff had gone home, so there wasn't anyone onsite to address the problem. The outside pedestrian noise was very high, and we had a terrible sleepless night. Also, it is a double bed (not a queen) and I fell out twice in the night when my partner shifted. (he's quite tall) The price point was very cheap, and perhaps with noise cancelling ear phones and a comfortable sleeping temperature it would have been appropriate. We found a different hotel for the remainder of our stay.
