The host had coffee, toast & jam available for us. Location was perfect - easy walking distance to all points on interest. She also left us a map with recommendations on what to see, where to eat. The free on-street parking was a plus.

The bathroom was on the second floor up a narrow staircase. It was fine for us, but some could find the stairs hard to negotiate. We would gladly stay there again.

Superb location in a quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance of major attractions and good restaurants; Elena had left a very helpful visitors' review of local restaurants. The apartment was on two levels with a separate sitting room upstairs where you could relax listening to classical music on a retro-style record player. It was easy to access public transport and the railway station was nearby.

The staircase upstairs would not suit people with mobility issues and the ceiling in the upstairs sitting room was quite low. Otherwise this outstanding property is highly recommended and the owner has shown loving attention to little details.

The apartment is situated in a good location. The owner is very friendly. We got everything what we asked.

Close to the city centre and the Duomo on a quiet street, the property can be reached on bus numbers 21 and 23 from the Parma train station, €1,50 per ticket. Nearby is the famous La Romana gelateria, a local institution. Also not far from the Barilla centre (a shopping complex) the U2 supermarket. All in all, very convenient. Elena was very quick to dispense all the necessary information.
