Wow, talk about lake front, this is in the lake! I may never settle for less again.

We enjoyed this property a lot. I wish we lived closer so we didn’t have to drive for 5 hours to get there, we’d come more often. Weather was a bit of a party pooper ( too hot) again, nobody can control that. Owners were super nice and accommodating, the house was super comfortable and well thought through. Really recommend

Lake House Blue has absolutely everything needed to allow you to relax in a private, serene atmosphere: sensational views from every room, excellent kitchen equipment (including reg. coffee maker, Keurig, toaster oven, sharp knives, cookware, automatic ice maker, microwave and air fryer), spices, condiments, sugar, coffee creamer and other 'basics' - you get the picture! There are an abundance of fluffy bath towels in each of the 3 bathrooms and luxurious bed linens for a very sound sleep. Our morning routine was an pre-dawn cup of coffee on one of the screen in porches watching the earth and creatures awaken: flying fish that did aerial tricks right off the deck, an eagle, osprey hunting breakfast to bring back to the nest on the neighbor's tree, a semi-circle of alligators to both greet us AND convince us to go elsewhere to swim, large mouth bass and turtles. Crab traps, fishing gear and kayaks are available and a boat rental business nearby for those who wish. The lake was quiet during our stay, with only the occasional fisherman/woman trolling by. Before our first day was over, we booked a longer stay for September to celebrate our anniversary...on a scale of 1 to 10, we rate this 100!!

We enjoyed watching sunrise ever morning and catching lots of fish. Great restaurants on recommendations list furnished by owners. House has everything you need. Plan to return in the future.

I don't even know where to start. Gorgeous views, great fishing, all the amenities you need, comfy beds, friendly hosts, close to groceries and nice boat ramp just down the street, great boat tie-ups at the house...seriously, I could go on all day. No detail spared in this home. We never had to run out to get anything after we got groceries. Small details were much appreciated- luggage carts, kayaks, board games, crab and shrimp trap, fire pit, nice grill, chilled mugs, ample parking for your truck/trailer if you have a boat, private and quiet... All we had to do was enjoy the place! Great little restaurant/bar on the water (maybe a 4-5 minute boat ride from the house). Bait shop two docks down. This place was perfect for a group of four adults. Heads up for those with little kids- they let you know up front- swim at your own risk- this is a dark water lake in Florida and there are gators visibly around. This is not a swimming lake (although we took the boat out to the middle a got wet a few times). But there is a swimming lake park very close by. It is, however, a great fishing lake! Very responsive and kind hosts. Book it. You won't regret it.

This is the perfect place to stay! It was seriously a dream come true for our family. Every moment spent at the lake house was relaxing and fun. The owners were so kind and welcoming via messages. Cresent City was also a fun place to explore with great food options. We will be rebooking this beautiful lake house.

Everything is extremely nice the views are amazing and the house is beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The host is very gracious and helpful in assuring that their guests have a great experience.

At Lakehouse Blue, you feel as though you've been invited to stay at a friend's house - a friend with immaculate, creative and whimsical taste. They've enhanced their little piece of paradise using ingenious decorating techniques that blend subtly into the background while being actual focal points of the decor when you actually look around. There is a view of the water from every room, and between the wrap-around deck and the two screened in porches, there is always a place to sit and admire the scenery. It was quite buggy as the sun came up, when the lake was very still, but the alligators were visible on the glass-like water from either of the screened in porches, and the osprey and other birds were a delight to watch as they greeted the day. By mid morning, you could sit easily anywhere outside, and early afternoon the breeze came up like clockwork. We cooked on the grill and ate every meal outside, then lounged by the fire pit when the sun went down, enjoying the glorious show of stars in the unpolluted night sky. The kitchen is equipped with every appliance, utensil, or pot or pan you could want. Two coffee makers (Kuerig and drip), toasters, toaster oven, griddle pan, sauce pans - everything you could look for. They even have a handsome gizmo that squeezes oranges for fresh juice! The beds are comfortable and the house itself is gracious and cozy. Thanks, Dean, for the birthday flowers and card for the three of us. A very nice touch, and I'm sure we'll be back!

The house was even cuter in person with beautiful views! We were able to use the kitchen and grill to cook breakfast and dinner. My daughter loved roasting marshmallows over the fire. We only caught one catfish during our stay, but enjoyed the time we spent together. We would definitely recommend this place for a weekend getaway. We visited Ponce De Leon Springs and it was awesome! We loved the boat tour and pancake house.

The pictures do not do this beautiful place justice. Clean, comfortable, everything you could need or want and more. We can’t wait to come back -

What can I say, this is a wonderful place with lots of nature right out your windows. Breathtaking Eagles & Osprey call Crescent Lake their home. Great place to fish, relax and just unplug from the daily grind. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible… oasis on the water. If you are looking for a special place surrounded by water and wildlife…. you have found it at LakeHouse Blue.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lake House Blue. The Ellis' home was very well appointed. We rented a boat for the week from Georgia Boys Marina at the recommendation from the Ellis'. We will definitely be returning to enjoy this lovely, homey vacation over the water!!

The views were amazing. The house had everything we needed including appliances. We didn’t catch fish but we caught some crabs! There was a pair of osprey in a tree nearby and spotted a bald eagle and alligators! The binoculars around the house were really useful. This was a peaceful stay and even forgot where my phone was half the time. Can’t wait to go back again!

We love the privacy, decor and peaceful feel of this beautiful retreat. I'm sure we'll be back.

This was a great time to get away. The property owners were amazing - great communication and incredibly thoughtful. There is enough to do around the house that the town (which is small) doesn’t matter much! Would and will visit again!

What a Great Lake house! Very unique setting and everything was as good or better than we expected. As Vrbo owners ourselves, we feel we are a little "picky" as to what should be there and this house was over and above what we could have asked for. Owner was very communicative and we had zero issues while we stayed there for 2 weeks! Fishing the area was great, caught many quality crappies and a handful of other species. We did bring our own boat and the owners setup was excellent for keeping it safe and secure at the dock. The landing isn't far away and is excellent as well. If your looking for a once in a lifetime experience, lake house blue wont disappoint! Jeff from Minnesota

Drove from Texas to Florida for the Daytona 500. This home was the PERFECT spot. We came in on Saturday, walked into the house and fell in love with the views! A perfect ending to a 19 hour drive. Relaxation at it’s finest! Sunday we woke up drove less than an hour to arrive at the race, not bad traffic at all! Spent the day at the Daytona 500, drove back to the house with No bad traffic at all! Back to the amazing views, quiet neighborhood and sound of the water surrounding the house. Fire pit outside, fireplace inside wrap around deck for fishing or just relaxing! I can’t say enough about this property or our first Daytona 500 experience! Also, the host recommended a Seafood restaurant called Corky Bells less than 30 minutes from the house, which we tried the day of checkout. Wish we would have gone every day we were there!!! Best food EVER thanks to the daytime bartender Rebecca who happened to be filling in as a server that day. With her recommendations, we ordered some of the best seafood I’ve eaten!!! Lake House Blue is an incredible place!!!!

This was the perfect getaway for our 30th! The house is just as it is in the pictures with everything you need! I would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be going back.

What a great place! Had a wonderful time with friends and the setting of lake house blue just added to the trip. Everything was awesome! But the bass did not cooperate.

We had such a great time staying in this house. A+++ host. The views are amazing. We spent almost everyday out on the water. We rented a pontoon boat for the week. When the weather did not cooperate we enjoyed the amenities in the house and relaxed. The WiFi was strong and worked well. The local food was excellent and unexpected. It was so nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the Orlando area which we usually visit. The house had every you could want or need. It is perfect for a family of 4. If you are looking to relax and not have a packed agenda this is the place to be. Hands down my favorite family vacation we have ever been on.

The property is beautiful extremely well-maintained and furnished could not have asked for a more gorgeous Christmas. We plan to come back.

I took my wife away for her birthday. I knew from the listing that this was a special place but had no idea that it was better than pictures could ever tell. From the moment we pulled up we lost all track of time. We fished, boated, explored, and enjoyed the views and peace of the lake house. The house is well maintained and beautifully appointed. We felt immediately comfortable when we walked in the door.The 360 degree view makes you feel like you are floating on the lake. My favorite spot was the screened porch off the living room. My husband loved being able to fish whenever he felt like it. We spent all our time at the house and didn't feel the need to go anywhere except the grocery store.

This is the perfect place to sit back, relax and have fun. The house has everything you need from comfortable bedding, fully equipped kitchen, great living area, plenty of space and seating for everyone inside and out. The Lake House Blue offers canoes, crab traps, shrimps traps, fishing poles, fire pit and grill, and plenty of space to bring your own boat. What else do you need? This place is well equipped and well thought out. It is surrounded by beautiful nature views, peace and quiet. We really loved this unique lake house and will back once the lake cools for fishing. Many historical details and themes throught the house. Well done owners! Real character and charm.

Lake House Blue was better than the pictures could tell. The inside of the home is very well furnished and appointed. Most anything you could need is there including sufficient paper products. An absolute delight to just hang out and see the water from every room. Toys provided include kayaks and fishing equipment to take full advantage of the water! The restaurants in Crescent City were not opened full time in August so the Welcome Book includes recommendations in close proximity which was a great help! The only thing was the outside could use a bit of help with cob webs and cleaning the outside windows so the views would be even better. The mooring area for the boat(s) is convenient and includes mooring whips, which will be needed for when the weather changes (and it will...Florida you know). Sitting on the deck with the gas fire pit was a favorite place to sit and talk and enjoy nature. Very serene and quiet! Two covered screen decks were nice during rain storms too. Parking was good and the grass lot was large enough I was able to turn my truck and 23' boat without backing up and it includes paved parking for 3 vehicles. Highly recommend Lake House Blue!

This property ranks high on our list. We first decided to book just to stay in a house in the middle of a lake. We now plan to return again. This house is so peacefully and well decorated. Truly felt like you’re staying on a boat, minus the rockiness. We did not catch any bass but a few catfish, a gar, blue crabs, and a large snapping turtle. Overall this house was amazing and a great vacation spot.

We had an amazing time at Dean & Amy's property. Everything is as described and then some. The house has everything you need. Amazing view and such a peaceful place. Enjoyed our time out on the deck and watching the sun come out. They have thought of everything. It was entertaining watching the fish feed in the morning and in the afternoon.Will definitely recommend the place.
