Abbiamo pensato a tutto ciò che avremmo voluto per la nostra famiglia e l'abbiamo messo nella nostra casa a Folly Beach. Questa proprietà ha caratteristiche moderne; i soffitti alti tre metri gli conferiscono un'atmosfera da 'Old Charleston', area aperta per famiglie / sala da pranzo / cucina, bagni per ogni camera da letto, ponti su entrambi i livelli (schermati al piano inferiore, splendide viste, posti a sedere per sei), garage per due auto , pavimenti in legno, ripiani in granito, buona conservazione, cucina ben attrezzata. Abbiamo persino inserito cancelli e copri-prese e libri, giochi e video per i bambini!
La camera da letto al piano inferiore è un letto queen-size, c'è un letto a castello per quattro persone nella camera da letto al piano superiore (letto singolo, doppia base, singolo rotelle), e suite padronale tranquilla ed elegante con letto king-size, zona salotto, doppio lavabo , doccia e vasca idromassaggio separate e ampia cabina armadio.
C'è anche un mazzo fuori dal maestro, con una bella vista sulla palude e sul fiume. Ci sono televisori in ogni camera da letto. Lavanderia è al piano di sopra. Abbiamo un grill a gas, un camino a gas, illuminazione ambientale e TV a schermo piatto oltre il camino e nel master. Abbiamo internet ad alta velocità, accessibile in camera da letto principale via modem.
La proprietà ha una piscina comunitaria e un bacino della comunità di acque profonde con una buona pesca e un ampio spazio per legare la vostra barca. L'accesso alla barca è a pochi passi (un isolato) di distanza.

Our family of 7 spent a week here and loved it! We had plenty of space to relax in the town home (beach home?), and it was easy to access all of the historical sites and restaurants in Charleston. We liked staying in the more relaxed Folly Beach area and driving into Charleston. The kitchen had what we needed to fry fish, make smoothies, and handle the rest of our food needs.

Everything was great. Just a heads up - the iron doesn't work and sprayed a bunch of brown water out of it when I tried to use it. Luckily it wasn't near any clothes when it happened or damage anything else.

So many great restaurants located in short walking distance, beautiful beach, nice pool and beautifully decorates townhouse with everything you could want to enjoy your stay!

We decided to rent a place near the beach for my daughter's 18th birthday. Our family had been quarantined for 7 weeks and looked forward to a change of scenery. The unit was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is located far enough from the activity of Center Street, but very walkable to restaurants and beach. Although restaurants were open, we elected to get take-out or we cooked in. The screened in porch was a favorite spot for meals. The docks on the property were also a great place to watch the sunset! Wonderful property and look forward to a return stay.

We stay in lots of rentals as a family of 6-hotels don't work for us. This rental was perfectly located, clean and well furnished. We loved the dock in the neighborhood and it was close enough to the beach to walk (although we rented a golf cart and would recommend that as it's way easier than schlepping all your stuff to the beach). We will definitely be back again for our next folly beach trip! Thanks for a great stay!

Really nice property. Not walkable to the beach carrying chairs, towels, etc. Clean. Management company kept in touch throughout stay.

We loved our stay at Waters Edge. Any issues we had were resolved almost immediately and communication was easy and efficient.

We came down with our friends and their 2 kids for the weekend. Our first impression was that it smelled like someone had just smoked in the house. The house appeared to be cleaned. The kitchen could've been cleaned a little better but it was ok. We liked how it was decorated and it did feel cozy. We did find a pack of cigarettes on the terrace but overall it was a nice weekend on Folly.

This property was a perfect getaway for us. It was quiet but we were walkable to everything in Folly Beach. This was a great property that was well appointed and comfy.

Very cute property and excellent location!
Had an excellent time at this very cute property. The layout feels very spacious and property was very clean. Our Instacart groceries arrived before our arrival and the property manager went above and beyond putting them away. We had 1-dinner out in Charleston and it was just a quick 20 min drive. Highly recommend!

Excellent!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the home is well maintained and clean, the location is terrific, and the access to the Folly Beach scene is a very short walk. The beach is only a little further, but not far, although we ended up driving to locations slightly further away (5th street or beyond) and parking.
Folly Beach is great, it’s a beach town without the ritzy beach vibe, it’s a true surf beach with great restaurants all within walking distance from this property.

Great location .
The property was great . The garage was a nice a would definitely hold two cars or trucks. One more vehicle can park in driveway with a pass. Parking is strict . I saw another person posted there was a grill. So I called to ask if there was a grill but was told no. But there is a grill there. May want to take your own gas tank. There is an outside shower also . Kids rooms sleeps four with a pull out trundle bed under the bunk. This unit is a duplex . We had no problems and loved the decor , well supplied kitchen , and appreciate me the place was super clean .

Family Vacation
Very clean and comfortable. Property in front of neighborhood so close walk to town. Large garage for plenty of cars. Would suggest that the gas for the grill to be filled. Had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Fantastic place on Folly Beach
The property was fantastic! We had everything that we needed! We especially liked the fact that we could walk to a lot of restaurants and the beach. The beach is about 8 blocks, and the restaurants start at about 5 blocks. They are very explicit in the instructions about what you can and can't do because of the HOA. But none of the requirements are out of line, or affected our trip in anyway.

Couldn’t have asked for more!
Absolutely fabulous. Lots of communication made finding the place and check in simple. We were thrilled to see such beautiful accommodations with plenty of sleeping space for everyone. So many great amenities that we weren’t expecting. The kids loved the bunk beds with trundle bed feature; the screened in deck downstairs and small balcony deck were so nice. Pool and pier nearby were very nice and only a short walk to the beach. I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed ourselves and hope we’ll be able to do it again.

Home Away From Home
This place was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We had a party of 8 with 4 kids ranging from 17 to 23. We cooked the entire stay and the kitchen was well equipped with great cookware and amenities. I just loved the decor and the master suite was so relaxing and spacious. I'm searching for the swivel/glider/rocker chairs located in the den and master suite for my own home. The location was a quick walk to the beach and the private pier was perfect for my husband & son. We look forward to renting this location again. We highly recommend it.

Weekend on Folly
Everything was great! I am a local and some friends and I (some locals, some visitors) had a staycation. The location was great - easy walk to the beach and center street, and the house was perfect. Very clean and roomy. Checking in and out was very simple and convenient.

We just checked out and had and awesome time. The property is in a great location and the house was very nice. It definitely could use a little work but nothing too serious. It had all the amenities that we needed. Wiki Wiki in Folly is an amazing restaurant. Honestly one of my favorite places I have ever eaten!!!

Perfect Getaway for Families
This is a great property for a family vacation - the unit was in a good location with easy access to the pool, docks and a walk to the beach. I was originally hesitant about being so close to Center Street, but you really forget it exists once you are in the house. The walk to the beach is very manageable, even with baby "stuff", if you bring a wagon or rent a golf cart. I did give the property 3/5 stars on the cleanliness, as the unit certainly had some areas that were not cleaned well (or at all), including the floors. Overall, I give this property 5/5 because of the overall experience and highly recommend a stay.

Great place for a family vacation!
We really loved the house and location for our family vacation on Folly Beach this year. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were great for two families. We rented a golf cart and highly recommend others to do so as well. We were able to choose different locations for our beach days and parking was a breeze on Center St. The pool was a wonderful, shady respite in the afternoons, with a beautiful view of the inlet. Overall, we loved it and would be happy to stay again!

Great location and well-equipped house
The location is great for access to everything Folly. A short walk to restaurants and the 'happening' area of town, and the beach. A short drive back over the bridge to to mainland and Charleston. Quiet so you can rest at night (that is a plus). Although it is possible neighbors could be not, we did not experience that. The house is pleasantly located at the upper end of a side creek and there is a clear view west towards the water. Would consider staying here again. Excellent facilities in the house for preparing your own meals too. Clean and well-serviced.

Great townhouse in Folly Beach
This is a solid unit with great proximity to the beach, the marsh, and shopping/restaurants. Many people rented golf carts to get around, but we were fine with bikes and walking. 25 minutes to downtown Charleston is also a plus!

The property was absolutely wonderful. Short easy walks to center of town and the beach. Rooms and every aspect of this stay was outstanding. Plenty of activities and things do do. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable , affordable getaway vacation.

Pretty neighborhood, maintenance issues in unit were fixed promptly
This was our first visit to SC in several years, and we rented this condo as a place where family from different places could gather. The unit was ok, and fit us and our stuff comfortably. Screened in porch was nice. Kids had plenty of room. However within 4 hours of our arrival, we had put together a list of at least 10 maintenance issues, from broken towel bars, burned out light bulbs, screws and bolts missing from the shaky bunk bed and a cabinet door in the kitchen that kept falling off - literally. We called the maintenance company with our list on the first business day (the paperwork was very clear we would be charged for anything broken at our check-out), and they sent someone out that same day. We were impressed by the speedy service, but wish those items would have been checked before our arrival. The floors and carpets were sticky and dirty at check-in, which we realized during the week was in part due to the house vacuum being completely clogged with lint and dirt. I cleaned it thoroughly myself, and now its working fine. The unit was nice but we were disappointed that there were SO many maintenance issues that we had to police in order to avoid being charged for them. We loved Folly and beautiful Charleston and will definitely be back, but probably not this specific unit again. This unit is spacious and pretty, but the maintenance issues were a problem.

Perfect vacation home in Folly Beach and close to everything!
Exceeded my expectations on every level! Check in, so easy, just type in the code on door and you are in, after you park up to 2 cars in the garage. Plus we had bikes delivered to the place prior to getting there since you don't really need to drive anywhere since everything is so close, many nice restaurants and bars, beach and river! The best thing about the location is that it is quiet, not by the downtown bars but within walking or biking distance. This house is great for any occasion, but we used it for Thanksgiving to host all our local family that lives in Charleston plus our family that lives in the Mid-West. Kitchen had all the latest amenities, family room had a huge comfortable couch plus a nice deck with table and chairs that overlooks the marsh/river. There is a community pool, pier/marina on one side and the beach with a pier a few blocks away. The beds on the 3 bedroom house were very comfortable with the Master having it's own deck and large walk in closet and bathroom. Honestly, the description on VRBO does not do this house justice. Folly Beach feels like Key West yet you are 15 to 20 minutes away from Charleston downtown, we will definitely be back!
