Friendly and very helpful staff, good and clean amenities. Very well equipped shower room with hairdryer etc. really awesome and highly recommend. Great location as it is just next to toyama station. They provided 2 free tram tickets which were great for tourist like myself.
Can be a little pricey for a hostel.

Spacious common spaces, spacious capsule with a big locker. Kitchen is well equipped, staff is friendly. You get two free tram tickets when you book at this guesthouse

The hostel is well located , next to station ( walkable ) really clean and you get a nice friendly welcome and small present ( free metro card 2 ways ) all is really organized . Definitely come back .
The instruction to come to hostel is so long and in detail explained that you almost because of that can’t find it . Really easy use google and find the entrance. It is a bit funny entrance .

Room was very big and kitchen is comfortable to use.
Walls are super thin and you could hear every single sound. Ground shakes a little when people walk around in the corridor when lying in bed.

The stay in Iruka hostel was quite enjoyable and it is just near the Toyama station. The hostel was clean and design was really nice creating cozy atmosphere. The stuff was very friendly and kind.

Iruka is quirky, arty, characterful and fun. Unlike hostels of the past it exudes charm, as do the young ones who run it.
Better than a hotel if you like sharing and self catering.. Interesting travellers to meet and chat with.
Nothing to add here. Iruka met expectations.

This hostel was one of the best hostel that I visited! Staff was super kind :) One of the happiest moment in Toyama city. I highly recommend this. (Trust me, I visited more than 30 countries and have lots of experiences of using hostels haha)

Clean place, big kitchen and a lovely library full with Huraki Murakami books in several language. Good location not so far from the station as well.
You would need earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The walls made from plywood and they are very thin.

they even had a weighing scale, cute. shower facilities were great.
safety storage space is a bit tiny and it was a little lower than an overhead compartment. so it might be a bit hard if u have heavy stuff to store.

I am generally not a fan of hostels and bunk rooms, however, Iruka and the amazing staff there exceeded my expectations. Every area was incredibly clean and well cared for, and the price was unbeatable. The staff were kind and informative, and went above and beyond. I would definitely stay here again.
Bunk "door" is only a curtain. Crowded bunk rooms can be noisy, but fortunately it wasn't that busy when we stayed, and they spaced us out around the room.

There was so much space including the bed were really comfortable. I felt really comfortable there especially the people were so nice and accommodating!
